- In this elden ring video I've created a battle royale between all of the most powerful sorcerers in the game. As with other battle royales I decided to play different rounds with different scalings and I've decided to include only those npcs that don't deal any other kind of damage if not through sorceries or incantations.

The best part about Rennala is that it isn’t even her: it is a trap-illusion created by Ranni should anyone ever try to harm her mother. Sort of an ideal version of her in Ranni’s eyes. As such the real Rennala, in her prime, would most likely be far more intelligent, powerful and dangerous.

@@willowdelosrios4326 So the 1st phase and the Rennala that shows up after the boss fight is the real one. 2nd phase is basically an astral projection trap that creates a fake but powerful Rennala to fight created by Ranni should someone attack her mother.

Renalle knew what was up in these fights she knew to summon spam so the AI would target them instead of her allowing her to support from the backline without worry of dying
I'm actually surprised of how long the noble sorcerer survived in each round

You kinda missed out on not using the Demihuman Queen near one of the Crystal Sages at Mt. Gelmir. She’s a magic powerhouse!

Gideon's AI literally went in the negative in the latter stages of the first round, completely forgot how to attack.
@@azizella2778 he doesn't have the true understanding of a mage. He fights like a faith knight without his sword. Rennala stays back and use summons like any mage should..

I love how Gideon kills both Tricia in round 1 and Corhyn in round 2, who were both giving him a chance to win against Rennala, and then in both rounds he proceeds to lose to Rennala haha
Gideon was nerfed badly in the last round, with no flasks. He won round 2.
This video was therapeutic after watching Rennala get obliterated in every boss battle. So proud of her.
I’d love to see a prime Rennala vs all bosses sometimes. Keep up the good content man.

@@spencerpendley9583he meant in most of the other videos. Since Rennala is very very weak to poise damage which almost the bosses do massive amounts of on top of a small hp pool (for boss standards)
My man Noble Sorcerer came in 4th in both the equal matches. Also the way he dodged the frenzy flame at 19:45 was just amazing

Rennala's Full Moon spell protecting her from Comet Azur was actually so nice to watch 😩
The AI seems to go braindead the instant Rennala pulls out a summon. They immediately give almost exclusive priority to attacking the summon even when it hasn't done anything yet.
Rennala is head of the Academy for a reason! All these other spellcasters need to go back to school.
...and learn that magic negation secret. 😆
I'd really enjoy a video of Rennala in her Prime vs all the main bosses. She had to have been exceptionally strong back during the war to fend off Marika's army.

If there's one boss whose "prime" I would love to see in game, it's Rennala. She never fights us at all, technically, and the closest we get to seeing the Queen of Caria at her height is through Ranni's illusion. It's possible that it's a fair representation of her strength but we definitely don't know that for sure.
She managed to fight Marika/Radagon to a standstill, so I wager she was quite a bit stronger.
We "fight" her on the first phase and she can hit like a truck there. In the second phase was solely a illusion but i kinda loved how stronger she was, but the thing is, she have really low HP and that's what's disappointing about it.
Also lore wise I completely agree that she was much stronger than the illusion Ranni created. She hold her ground against Radagon and Marika, her variant knights are op as hell too

Something seems *way off* with the AI here. The Perfumers refused to ever attack Rennala, Gideon seemingly forgot his Comet and Rykard's Rancor abilities, and Corhyn didn't even have his flail. Also, did Rogier have his rapier for that matter? The dragon summon appeared to last for an unnaturally long time in the second fight too.
80% Magic Damage Negation really comes in handy sometimes.

I think his AI was messed up because he was given a move set that is impossible for him to have normally. He can't have two boss spells and have Comet Azur as the second boss spell removes it from his spell list. If he has all three boss spells then he also loses access to Triple Rings of Light.
Man, I'm impressed with how strong Sellen is. It's surprising she has such a hard time solo-ing Jerren considering how many spells she has in her arsenal. Founding Rain of Stars, Comet, many strong spells.
P.S.: WHERE'S MY BOY HUGHES? Dude would just bully everyone with nukes and hammers, come on.

holy cow, that first round Rennala vs Gideon. It was tight! very entertaining! Loved that one. In the end when they got at close range it was an all out war. amazing.

Proud of Rennala in this video. She worked really hard to get her Win in the Normal Scaling Duels. And watching her Dodge with her moon was top tier.
I was happy to see Rogier made it to the "semi-finals" in the Equal Scaling section :D

Why does it always come down to Gideon seeing Rennala cast her full moon sorcery and thinking “now’s the time to get into melee range” as well as seeing him spam comet on everyone BUT Rennala being the most painful thing to ever witness…
I liked this battle of wizards it was very interesting because in it we could know who is the best sorcerer!! .
More because in the last round gideon didn't use his life flasks because as far as I know he has about 2 no 🤔? .
Hail man and I thought this battle of all magicians against everyone was really cool, the results were surprising but it was pretty cool in the end 🤓😄👍✌️.

this is also the fourth themed battle royale, alone with destined death, the roundtable hold and rot, that gideon ofnir has appeared for which is hilarious to me

Maybe idea for next video: I don’t know how it works, but battle between non-invader/supporter NPCs? Like Kale, Fia, Roderika, Turtle pope, Boc. Basically NPCs you don’t expect to fight.
I don’t even know if they can retaliate in the real game, though.

Maybe it's my loathing for Gideon that makes me really despise seeing him almost win the first two rounds and win the third, if he didn't have the estus he would fold so fast. I know it's probably difficult to do, but would it possible for you to make a video where Gideon gets bullied by every boss? I really just don't care for him at all, lol.

you can see, just like in boxing, that range (reach) plays a HUGE role especially when you try and "punch" the enemy when it is beyond your range over and over again while you are within theirs
