THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WANT TO DO WITH MY LIFE! I am currently in community college starting from scratch, but this is exactly what I had in mind when choosing engineering. How do I go down this exact path?!?!

+ConnectEd I'm thinking of going down this route, but I'm on a feeding tube. would this be a wise choice for someone with physical limitations?

+ty pannell We are not sure. This might be a question to ask some Solar Experts (maybe you can find an association or group on Facebook?) Lots of jobs have various options for everyone, just not sure if this *requires* lots of climbing and other physical activities (probably the installation part does) and/or if there is possibility that you could split the work with someone else, maybe focus on the design portion of the work?! Let us know what your research turns up. Best of luck!!!

How much of this role actually involves going to site? Would it be like 80% office 20% on site? Is the Design Engineer more of a project manager?
