appreciate being included in the video bro🙏 we're in for a good zombies year with BO6 I can already tell, haven't had this fun since maybe BO3 personally
It's insane how into multiplayer I've been since the release of BO6, usually im only zombies driven and never touch MP, but this year i feel like im having so much fun in all THREE gamemodes!
Im an easter egg player and "shooting zombies" is just not fun for me. I love that they're trying to make easter eggs more "hidden" now in bo6, but overall I don't think they're on the level of bo3/4 for me. I love the idea of the progression being to do quests and gearing up like we did in the latter half of bo2, bo3, and bo4. It's kind of similar to playing an MMO game and doing quests to level up - I think its the same with the hard/difficult easter eggs of the past. I don't think BO6 is on the difficulty level for easter eggs (yet), who knows maybe the future dlc's will be harder. But I have my doubts lol. And the fact that Old Zombies is still there, yeah ofc but we've been playing that for Years and Years over and over again. I think the older zombies community is backlashing bo6 simply because they don't like the CW mechanics and they want to see something that's canon with the older zombie mechanics again (which is honestly unrealistic because as a game developer they wouldn't want to re-release the same game again, they have to change things up to match with the new playerbase). The issue with modded zombies is that it is not Treyarch Canon. No matter how good some custom maps are... they just don't have the "oomph" that Treyarch canon maps have, and the idea that you're playing as important crew members and map design with AAA studio quality.
First I want to say that I feel the exact same way as you do and agree with everything said here, but just for curiosity's sake, what is an example of the quintessential EE quest that inspiration needs to be taken from
@@heraldofwoe3686 I wouldn't really say there is a singular "quintessential EE" but rather ideas that could be taken from various EE's of the past. I prefer when maps have more than just "slaying zombies" to the gameplay loop. For example in Origins BO2, you will naturally progress through the map by unlocking the elemental staff parts - a lot of parts are gathered simply by playing through the rounds (ie: panzer drops fire staff part, digging during snow is ice staff parts, etc). It gives a sense that the player is advancing through the story and getting stronger as the they collect parts. It's Map Specific too, the gameplay loop of Origins is unique to Origins itself, no other map plays like it. The issue I have to BO6 is that the progression isn't really "map specific" but rather it's built into the gameplay systems itself (ie: weapon rarity with salvage, armor) the only thing that is "map specific" on BO6 in terms of progression is the Wonder Weapon EE on Terminus for the beamsmasher and on Liberty Falls for the Jet Gun.
Can’t wait till you have 5k bro! I’ve always wanted to go to Alcatraz too (sounds weird right? Not as a prisoner of course🤣). Also, you said you’d go play vanguard if you hit 5k like 20 videos ago. Don’t think I forgot 😉
Bro is going to torture himself for us. I like almost all zombies, except Vanguard, Vanguard was so boring, but it had some good ideas. If Treyarch had longer to cook, vanguard could have been great.
@ yes actually, I love the covenants. The hart systems with the field upgrades also worked well and I don’t mind the perk system. I’d also the first game with one salvage type. And the atmosphere is nice. But der anfang and terra are just really bad. The archon is fine imo, C tier. But snnr is really great, I’d give it A tier
I was kind of hating the balancing with the boss spawns until I realized that explosive weapons make them a lot more manageable. Was struggling to get past 30 without mutant injection until I swapped to that explosive sniper. To people complaining about balancing zombies has always had optimal high round stats.
Zombies is a blast this year I think they almost perfectly achieved the balance of classic vibes with a new twist. The game plays way smoother and better than it looks when ur watching gameplay.. also people need to get over the whole “classic” thing if you want old just play old? they are trying to innovate.
Props to you, Beware, for talking about this. I know we had a great conversation about this, and we both had very similar opinions. Let's just enjoy zombies, especially since we are EATING GOOD RN.
We are finally eating so good, I personally love LOVE the chaos X Aether amalgamation, count me in! LOADS of Intel, the og 4 coming soon, the revealing of past mysteries? The new crew?! I love it, we must find a middle path amongst opposing discourse and play it with fun, no game is perfect but this best than what could've been worse: zero content from the devs. Les go! Edit-Would you please make a lore video on Prima Materia and the Sentinal Artifact? Like more bits and pieces from Chaos storyline? I think most of fanbase slept on the crew and the Chaos story.
All you gotta do to see BO6 has been good is look at the views on big channels. The feedback and views have been the best since bo4 and maybe even since BO3
I think the customisation and how in depth you can go is amazing. BO6 actually builds on classic zombies unlike CW hopefully the dlcs for bo6 are as fun and amazing as Terminus/LF. So far for launch maps and content this is top 3 experience for me it may change depending on dlc but so far for me it’s up there with Bo1/3
And if they patch this glitch id probably stop playing ngl because thats the only way im playing because zombies is way too try hard with out god mode i gotten too round 31 god mode round 50
As a Boomer that enjoyed Cold War, Black Ops 6 is Great, and it is enjoyable, but some weapons scale awfully and are unbearably bad on early rounds (Ex: Pistols, Melees and Launchers) - Pistols: Just having bad damage - Melees: Lacking damage without Melee Macchiato - Launchers: Having the damage but being inefficient with ammo (For obvious reasons) Although the "Fun" picks right back up as soon as you PAP (With the exception of the GS45 making Headshots unbearably inconsistent), and Melees with the acquisition of Melee Macchiato... Fun which then completely drops off at round 32 - 36, with the saddest factor being that the use Most weapons make rounds beyond 32 - 36 just unbearably tedious and slow, what's sad is that those rounds aren't even difficulty in terms of Posing a challenge, they're just unbearably tedious (with having to focus on the clusterf*ck of Manglers and Elites), and take awfully long to clear hoards with most (Not All) Non-Wonder and Non-Killstreak Weapons
Bro I have friends whoonly play war zone who play zombies now and are telling me they done with war zone cuz how much fun they r having we play for at least 4 hours everyday
@@BWTSIXI think it actually is the biggest mode right now in bo6. I can’t remember the exact stats but there was an article that said multiplayer, Campaign and warzone fans are all flooding to zombies right now
get real this is just a Cold War 2 dlc and it’s Dull , black ops 4 was the last unique cod. They even are using exact camos they used in bo4 lolz it’s a joke this game , it shouldn’t be called black ops.
