RoboSkull! So jealous Michael... take care of this gem. You are the custodian of 1980's nostalgia, so it is only fitting this was gifted for you to look after! Cheers!
This is what your show means to us! Thank you Michael! And Melinda! You guys really do provide a ton of enjoyment! To us and this should show you just how much we enjoy what you do! Ignore the trolls! My best advice is to not respond to them! A reaction is what they are trying to get. It gives them publicity on YOUR show and anyone who trolls you is ether jealous or didn’t grow up in the 1980’s! Being born in 1978 I did miss the o.g. Star Wars toys. They weren’t in the stores anymore by the time I started playing with action figures and by that time g.i.joe was rolling out! Loved the cartoon! Because knowing is always half the battle! Wink wink...lol but if you didn’t grow up in the 80’s I feel bad for them!! They have no idea how good we had it! Golden age of action figures! Hands down!
Oh my! I can't believe you got donated a RoboSkull! That was my favourite childhood toy! Sadly ill never afford to buy one in adulthood, but it's amazing to see one donated to you guys. It's going to great home. Stunned!
Wow! That is some amazing stuff. I only just learned of the Roboskull recently. That is an amazing piece with some fascinating development history to it. Analog Toys did a really great video on it last year. Including some commentary from the designer.
you prolly dont give a damn but does anybody know a tool to get back into an instagram account?? I stupidly forgot the account password. I love any tips you can offer me
Myself living in Britain I am basacly a younger version of you, I adore Star Wars, I love other 80s movies and TV (Starsky and hutch, Knight Rider, BTTF Goonies and all the cool stuff you grew up on), I go to the RAF air tattoos and I'm a Whovian to
What a haul! Getting to see and feel the reaction Michael and Melinda have; the reaction we might all have seeing the fabled artifacts from our childhood is such a joy. Thanks for the fun, as always
I had the Roboskull back in the eighties and adored it. Easily the stand-out of the Action Force line. To see the toy getting recognition these days makes me very happy. Great unboxing.
I had that roboskull ship as a kid. It was pretty awesome Never knew what is was called or whatever happened to it. I guess my parents dumped it or gave it away when I got older. It nice to see it again and find out information about it.
The Matchbox Thunderbird 1 and Thunderbird 3 were in white boxes, which means they were designed to be part of a mail-away offer from a 1992 cereal box. The individual retail versions were on blister packs with colorful backing cards.
Kids, remember when opening a box, cut AWAY from you, not towards you. I enjoy RetroBlast videos, but I always hold my breath when Michael opens a box.
Congrats on the Robo Skull! Action Force. Wow. I first heard of Action Force in a marvel comic ad around 1987. The ad made me believe that Action Force was just a code name G.I. Joe used in the UK. Only in the 2000s did I learn what Action Force was really about.
If you ever come back to the UK, get to RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire, if you can. The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight is based there, including flying examples of Spitfire, Dakota, Hurricane, and Lancaster (one of only two in the entire world). Tours of the hangar can be booked, so you can get close to these beauties. Also, the Shuttleworth collection at Old Warden has some of the oldest working aircraft in the entire world. Failing that, RAF Duxford museum (Imperial War Museum Duxford) is an OUTSTANDING RAF museum, set in the Battle of Britain era airfield at Duxford. Also, this is where a LOT of the ground scenes of the film Battle of Britain were filmed.
Thank you for entertaining us with your excellent content .Take a good look at the chingun, that replacement that my brother made is a true piece of art that started it's life as a simple chopstick, it would break my heart if you replaced it. Have fun with your new toys :-)
Love watching unboxing videos. Thunderbirds creeped me out. I guess I'm not into marionettes but the vehicles were cool. And people are so generous. You have a great fan base.
As always...Another fantastic RETROBLASTING video. The Filmation Ghostbusters TimeHopper blew my mind. I didn't know it made sounds/took batteries.....I'd love to add those toys to my collection. Michael...you need a haircut! :) Love you guys!
Great stuff, could not get into better hands. I love retroblasting, such friendly and relaxing corner of the collecting and videolog thingies. Could I maybe wisg for some Star Force(the magnetic toys?) things in the future, I never ad any toys but where fascinated by tha ads in my comics and later the cartoons on TV.
Always loved Retroblastings Dragoncon presentations on the channel. But is it too crazy to look forward to it this year just to find out what’sup with the hair? ;-)
Great video, as always. I probably won't see you at DragonCon as I'm only going Sunday (Shatner's recent announcement he would be there made me buy a pass for the first time in years). But hey, if you have a panel that day I'll try and stop by.
I have the same Matchbox Thunderbirds, and am not doing all that much with them these days. If you want a Thunderbird 1 without a bendy nose, hit me up!
I am heading to DragonCon this year. Are you folks doing any more panels? Is there going to be a meetup of some kind? Love the channel, would love to meet you folks.
Knowing barely anything about G I Joe, I'm startled by the terrifying apparition of that skull vehicle. Unlike something more stylized, like Castle Grayskull, it looks just that bit too real.
I’m currently moving, and one thing I’ve been meaning to ask, Michael, is, is there a method for getting pet odors out of toys? I’ve always been a pet person but, God bless them, they sometimes stink and that stink can travel.
Wait, Action Force was getting badass stuff like that while GIJoe was getting Buzz Boars and Pogo pods? I've not been this jealous of the British since finding out the RAF got to fly jet fighters during WW2.
Hi. I just wanted to say hi. Glad you got some stuff. I loved your first r2 d2 restoration video and was wondering when a new one might come out. Also I can still try to make copyright free music for the ningor music video
@@retroblasting hi guys.i have that ninja book...take everything that's in it with a pinch of salt...while it is an interesting read its mostly based on Hollywood nonsense rather than the actual truth.
The amount of kindness from one toy collector to another in the you tube toy collecting community never fails to astound me.
NO WAY! That Roboskull was probably my most wanted childhood toy. I would still love one even now.
Your unfettered love and joy never fail to make my day!
RoboSkull! So jealous Michael... take care of this gem. You are the custodian of 1980's nostalgia, so it is only fitting this was gifted for you to look after! Cheers!
I must say it's great to unboxing of toys you never see on a daily basis, tha is to the donator's and thanks to Retroblasting for posting the video.

Wow. I've never really looked at the Action Force vehicles before but that is awesome looking.

Wait!!! A RetroBlasting video notification??? Must drop everything!
Anticipating you walking in to a hairdessers and showing them a picture of Bespin Luke and asking them to make your hair look like this. 😉
Love seeing a new RetroBlasting video, keep them coming! You inspired us to start our own channel!
Hmmm, Michael kinda looks like Bespin Luke....
Highly suspicious! :)
Or Paul Rudd
Holy cow, that Roboskull is ridiculously awesome.

You don’t owe us an explanation about your hair but it made me LOL that people were interested enough to ask you about it.
I must admit I had wondered too, but figured he use all money on collecting, and saves on the haircuts! ;)
Thanks for another awesome video!!!!
Kids, remember when opening a box, cut AWAY from you, not towards you. I enjoy RetroBlast videos, but I always hold my breath when Michael opens a box.
That look on your face when you first opened the skull box was priceless! Very cool pieces for the archive. Great unboxing. Cheers to you both👍🍻

Originally it was completely different to gi.joe

Great toys there!!!
I think those two Thunderbird ones are the 90s releases when the original show was brought back for that decade.
I was hyped for the minty Bespin Luke but how cool is that roboskull WOW! congrats my friend!

great video Michael . also long or short hair you always look good buddy.
Good lord.. the Roboskull. It’s the one thing I always saw in comics (and desperately wanted) at the time ..1984? It was expensive even then... :-0

this is an amazing video, would love to see a restoration of the robo skull!
I love the mystery box videos
The RoboSkull looks like it could have come right out of He-man...
the roboskull is pricey, crazy that someone gave it away..
Wow. GI Joe has sure come a long way since fighting Charlie in SE Asia.
the red skull its cool~
Thanks for clearing that up about your hair.
Hi guys, would you consider a dedicated 'museum donations' shelf in your display?
once again great vid, please keep it up
I had expected at least Jar Jar Abrahams glasses in the mystery box !;)
Woohoo! Retroblasting!!

Love it. Gotta watch it

Bespin Luke for Dragon Con Michael?
As your comment gets a like from Retro blasting
Please be an Empire Strikes Back Han hair style he's working on. Please be a ... Oh. Excuse me.
Please make a part two to the filmation ghostbuster toys please?
When are you planning to do an episode of the Cops show and figures?
looks like they remolded the TIE fighter mod for the main body
So the hair growing is for a cosplay thing for the convention or something? And that Robo Skull is looking nice.
What’s In The Box?!?!?
I am curious, was this Robocop intended to be something that is battery operated and will walk on its own?
I think you are growing your hair out so you can cosplay Rick Hunter from Robotech. Melinda will be Lisa. I figured it out!!
Dios mio that roboskull :0
Action force was this for the red shadows army think the leader was called baron iron blood a bit before j I Joe cool donated toys very nice
