@ab1962Rct. Clickbait. No analysis of the headline problem. It’s a puff for Claire Fox and her puzzling a ragbag of ideas. She has poor communication skills. Endless “Ya knows” ‘it was likes”,, and “kind of”s. She was all over the place. No attempt at coherence, analysis, or drawing together of themes. A classic bore , the sort that traps you on the bus. I had listened to some of the Radio 4 programmes a generation ago, but she hasn’t achieved anything since then. Even now it’s just plans for meetings and tie-ups. Is this just a puff for Reform.? Like. Ya know what I mean. Well no, actually . I’m still in the dark -wondering what just happened. But my ears are ringing, like when you’ve been in a high wind you’re glad to get inside.
This must bring Starmer down for this disgusting, horrifying cover up. Southport as well. And Starmer’s support for Saville! This evil, dirty old man holds the highest office on the land..how come? Get him out NOW! Angry? We all are..except Labour supporters of course! Thank you Elon Musk!

I welcome the attention and scrutiny of this stain on our country and I am so grateful that Claire has spoken out again on this terrible abuse and injustice but would a national enquiry actually do any good? What difference did it make re Hillsborough, what difference will Grenfell or the Post Office enquiry make? Those to blame escape punishment in this country, especially the powerful - Things must change
What annoys me is the social workers, council officials and police etc wandering around who in some cases actually enabled the sex trafficking who are protected by a conspiracy of silence. There was one social worker who attended the Muslim wedding of her underage (15) client to her abuser. The local authority later confirmed the adoption of the girl by her new in-laws. There is absolutely no reason legally speaking why a police force could not find the name of the social worker and all those involved in the adoption and prosecute them for sex trafficking. If they did some digging they would likely find even more dubious stuff going on.
So what about this then ? "Senior civil servants and ministers spent more than a decade covering up evidence that links the actions of a government department with hundreds, and probably thousands, of deaths of disabled people who relied on the social security system." "Documents secured through freedom of information requests, inquest reports, and investigations by bereaved family members show how the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) destroyed incriminating records, failed to share crucial evidence with its own independent reviewers and grieving relatives, and even lied to a coroner." Oh but that's just disabled people, no one cares about them ?
Didn't a certain man, currently in prison, bring this to our attention over a decade ago? Since when he's been vilified, beaten up, and had his life ruined.
A big fan of Claire. First came across her on 'The Moral Maze' where she would regularly challenge orthodox opinions. Have attended The Battle of Ideas for the past two years and it's always a real joy to be there. If it was a political party I'd join it ! Great channel by the way, hope it grows exponentially during 2025 !
Thank you for telling the truth about the truth rape gangs and the disgusting behavior of the establishment in ignoring it. Sadly I would not be surprised if this has gone on for 50+ years and worse it is happening nationwide even today. Unfortunately the longer a problem is ignored the harder it is to fix. Let's hope we can now put a stop to this and name and shame all those that did nothing to stop it when they should have.
It has been going on for 50 years. Initially the targets were Hindu & sikh girls, and the predators were the same. The gov covered it up, silenced & harassed & jailed protective family members, commissioned fake academic social science 'research' etc etc.
You certainly cannot say no one has done anything. A chap (unpopular with the elite) from the wrong side of the tracks who tried for a decade to make this crime known, eventually took the fall for those too afraid to speak out. It's a disgrace.
It is now utterly clear that her ONLY concern is to hold the useless Parliamentary Tory Party together - no matter what the Country at large may want or need.
In recent years, my respect for Claire Fox has grown enormously. Every point she makes, hits the bulls-eye - and she still manages to keep abreast of the public sentiments and grievances, in a way that most in Westminster rapidlylose touch with
When the 'Nice Guys' turn out to be the Bad Guys - (Jimmy Saville, BBC, 'Women's, Rights, Human Rights' Labour MPs & Councilors) What on Earth is Kemi doing attacking Reform - instead of working with us? We are disillusioned Tories and Red Wall Labour people. Kemi currently lacks credibility - and she'll never get any by attacking Reform.
I'm sick and tired of hearing how authorities were scared or failed the victims. This was not failure! It was a conscious decision to ignore the rape of minors . I don't want a public enquiry to I want criminal prosecution of everyone who aided and abetted the rape of children. Including Starmer because even if his incompetence was why he did nothing or knew nothing and head of CPS he knows know and is still doing nothing and is therefore guilty!
One thing we have to bear in mind about the rape gang cover-up was that most of those public servants involved believed they were acting with the best of intentions for the greater benefit of society. How do we remove (dare I say!) ideology and re-establish common sense and professionalism in our public services?
Another comment: I remember Jack Straw, the former government minister, bringing this up (he was very specific about the Pakistani origins of the perpetrators), then it went quiet.
He also (with BBC "evidence") went after the BNP leader with a huge prosecution on many charges in an attempt for making also "racist" accusations about grooming. But the Jury found the guy innocent - presumably because the allegations about grooming gangs were true. So "the English are inherently violent" Straw lost the case but the delay and far right label meant the stories were suppressed. Jack Straw was an anti English racist who hid grooming gang problems, so a confession near the end not enough.
@@andrewcole4843 I have read your comment several times. So you are saying after years of ignoring the issue, then pursuing it as a 'far-right' conspiracy, he had a change of heart but it was too little too late?
@@ac1646 Straw knew about grooming, tried to bury it by false prosecution of the guy who was complaining and failed to heed what the jury had decided. Only later admitting the problem anyway and got away with that as the media did not cover the trial outcome because it did not fit the agenda. Its very complicated to explain the history of politics at the time as the BNP were not nice either to say the least but Straw was no friend of grooming victims and no enemy of the perps.
This feels very similar to how it felt in Ireland when we found out the church was protecting p3dos. Only this feels worse in a way because the people being protected don't even have the guise of decency. How did they get so much power?
Oh dear Claire, most people in America didn't like Trump??, keep sitting on that fence Claire and by the way ,these were not just young women they were young girls some as young as 12, disappointed in you on this
I was at a translators conference shortly before the Brexit referendum. I was stunned by the rhetoric of one of the speakers who lamented that translated literature would die if we left the EU? As though nobody had ever read translated literature before we joined the EU! Chatting with translator colleagues, whom I have known for years, the conversation went to Brexit. I was so fed up with the homogenous ideas being expressed, that I piped up that there were good left-wing reasons to vote leave! It was as though I'd passed a very noisy, smelly fart. The entire group literally turned their backs on me. It may seem pathetic but I went outside out to cry quietly. I just felt so alone. Especially as I had know it was foolish to suggest such an idea!

Nothing but respect for Claire Fox. One of the few politicians who has never ducked an issue, always called out the hypocrisy.
Remember her on Moral-Maze?
Thank god for a Politician like Barroness Clair Fox.
Respect 🙏

Well said Baroness Fox!
Can you imagine what message this government is sending to the victims. There's no where to go.
The victims come first get labour OUT.
It's not incompetence, it's not fear of name calling, it's an act of war by our own state.
Anarcho-tyranny
Not just our state, but other states as well as 'non-state actors'

No fear in banging up
TOMMY ROBINSON
For a non criminal offence
I saw one judge
THREATEN
One person
With a
TEN POUND fine for CONTEMPT
And not
Years in prison
And a fine
80 000 POUNDS
So
Who was BEHIND THIS
Even the judge SAID
The PUNISHMENT
Was too much
And watered it down
I am thinking here of that famous phrase
THE BUCK STOPS HERE
Last time it meant
IMPEACHMENT
Will HISTORY REPEAT ITSELF?
Thank you Claire and thank you to YT algorithms for bringing Rational Voices to my attention.

They must all face justice for their crimes in covering it all up.

Clair Fox you are a champion. ❤.
Let's get behind the ppl who have the courage and position to stand up for these children.
As important and as courageous as this is, it is beyond shameful that this was not raised in The House of Commons....
Why haven’t the good and decent Muslims who live here … not want to get angry about this cover up and help get it stopped???
Vote out all the local Lib,Lab,Con councils out in the next local elections. Vote ReformUK and get our towns and villages back on track.
ABSOLUTLY anyone who does not is voting a Party which ha presided over these child rape gangs!
@SybilJohnson. How exactly.? I haven’t heard anything. Have you?
On the contrary, the State DID intervene. It intervened in the normal operation of policing & law in order to facilitate the development of the crime.
I'd agree with Claire that Kemi hasn't cut through. She seems to just be making use of her ability to dominate at PMQs but little else.
That's how she got ahead in office politics
she's not even THAT good at PMQs

I think it's vital that debate is essential.
I don't think it's a lack of courage from our governments not to react to the GG scandal. I feel it's them obeying orders from an outside source.
The only difference is Tommy shouted from the rooftops I do not see any difference as he as not had air time on TV

It wasn't consent, they were children who were plied with drugs and alcohol
