    Big improvement! I bought some
Nice EvoTech units, but had a issue w clutch adjustment and getting the engagement correct. I ended up lubing the cable to help. Not sure, I’ll put miles on it; but the Evo units are just that much different to really affect adjustment.

The bolt for the brake didn’t fit the new bushing’s internal diameter. Alert, don’t force the bolt. It’s not you, it’s Triumph. The old bushing does work, however. The problem is that the instructions say you need a new bushing (I think Triumph calls it a sleeve) if you are going to change anything. The additional problem is that those damn sleeves/bushing don’t come as a separate part, so you have to buy a standard Triumph lever just to get a new bushing/sleeve. Anyway, I buggered the pivot screw trying to get it in the new bushing and had to buy a new screw. My bike had never been ridden yet (welcome to North Dakota extended winters), so I wasn’t too worried about using the “old” bushing again, because it was new. The other option would be to take the pivot bolt and the new bushing/sleeve to a machinist and have it bored out to fit. I’d do that if your bushing has any miles on it. Drilling at home is probably not going to work unless you really have a solid drill, but I’d suggest a professional vertical mill or lathe to get a dean on fit. Unfortunately, that’s probably going to cost more than just ordering a new lever just to get the silly sleeve. Come on, Triumph, how about selling the sleeve separate, or making sure the internal diameter is correct?

Is there an option to install clip on handlebars for the speed twin?

I did notice some options that people installed when I first researched the bike, many of them seem universal but there were a few European companies that made something specific for the Speed Twin (Probrake comes to mind). Maybe Apex has something that would work, but I haven’t taken a close look since the ergonomics of the bike suit me as it is.
