The Big Push has some amazing original songs with videos you might enjoy (and also are all over the place in terms of genre). Like Precious, Swan Song, or Sweet Little Lady. I think I speak for most Renegades when I say I think you'd have a ball reacting to both the original Sweet Little Lady as well as the live acoustic version, perhaps even in a double reaction. As a reactor who only started recently, I'm jealous that you get to react to all of Ren's music for the first time. (I can't since I've listened to it all already!)

I hit the springs every so often. I am up near Greeley and Ft. Collins. I used to work for The Fox radio station in Denver so I was always all over with concerts and friends. I miss radio for that but maybe not the pay lol.

You said something about not being able to monetise Ren's videos...am I right? That shouldn't be the case. Ren loves reactors and has said that he does not chase copyright from reactors and that should you ever get warnings to please dispute them and he will get the video cleared for you so you can monetise.
I second this. He's publicly said he'll clear all warning for reactors. He doesn't want the money just recognition.
We understand, but sometimes if there is a certain producer or collaborator it doesn’t let us. We still react regardless lol.

Ren never fails ❤ The Big Push "Dignity", "Swan Song" and "Its Alright" are original (i think) they also do a cover called "Bongo Bong" which is brilliant ( better than the original, dare i say!) pineapple on pizza? Only with ham. I had a pizza a while back with sliced potatoes on it and it was foul. 🤮

If u get a strike you can email and he/Connor will clear it. His team are his long standing friends - not a company, not an anonymous manager. Yep. It seems very likely it is “Feminist” because those lines “rap without ren is like…” all seem to have been shout outs to lines the Nas fans had commented on the Nas halftime video in response to “rap without Nas is like…” - so some of them are lines from another artist, some are jokes, but by using those lines, he’s paying homage not just to Nas but also the Nas fans.

Hang on --- ON a reaction to a retake, you say you're not a fan of covers?? See the irony?
The Big Push is NOT a cover band. They do perform some covers. In my opinion, this is because they did a lot of live performances, and performing something familiar to the crowd is likely to engage them straightaway.

I do always listen to the end of course, but I’ll be reading other people’s comments and replying to things you say as I watch/listen rather than wait until the end. I’d have forgotten most of it if I waited! 😂
As other have commented, you should be able to monetise the reactions to Ren and the Big Push - except maybe when they are covering other people’s things.
Ren has said many times that he loves reactors and will clear any copyright hits - but you will need to dispute them unless you can get white listed.
Blind reactions are cool, but…as long as you’re honest about it, there can also be good discussion around things you’ve already seen before. Some people are now doing reactions to their own reactions to reflect on how their opinions have changed as they’ve seen more etc.
But if you only want to do blind reactions, that’s cool too - that does tend to be what most people want.
We’ve always been paranoid of getting copyright strikes. I will dispute as a fair use and if it doesn’t get cleared we leave it
As far as a discussion thing I don’t think we thought about it like that.
@@TheWholeAzzShow with Ren, he really wants any reactors to get paid - he’s said it explicitly in videos and interviews etc. Now, if you get a hit and dispute it and it’s not cleared, get someone to shout out to his people on the socials as they usually jump on it quick then. From what I’ve heard, any money made will be kept safe and then passed your way once it’s cleared. As I understand, the only exceptions are some things were other people have some of the rights and it’s not matched with Ren/Big push owning it or they haven’t been able to put their version in the system for content matching. But if it matches with them, you should be good.
Lots of reactors have been sceptical, but the renegades have helped get word to Ren’s team (I forget the guys name who tends to step in to fix it) - and then reported it’s all been sorted.
