I absolutely love this mission. Got it down to a pretty efficient way and it's fun to do while drinking some coffee in the morning. Instead of ladders, I make thatch (or wood) ramps to get up the stone pillars. The underwater lake cave you spawn by is awesome, too. Thanks for the vid!
I've done this mission countless times and always used the wood ladders and stone beams. However, this is the first time I ever picked up a ladder while I was on it. I don't know what I was thinking, but I can tell you it was before I had my first cup of coffee. lol
@@DoomieGaming if you pick up a ladder you're standing on, press E and you will grab the ladder in front of you and not fall, it's a great way of descending ladders quickly.
I have about 270 hours played in Icarus and I have knocked out most of the olympus missions. I haven't done this one yet. Are you looking for other people to play with? because I would love to join you! Love the content, and thanks for the informative video :)
I have done all the missions at one time or another on the Olympus and Styx maps. And most of them that offered exotic veins, I've done them too. In fact, most of the playing I do now is strictly to do all the tutorial guides for each mission that I can cover on solo play. Doing just those takes up most of my time, so to be honest, I don't even play for the "fun" of it like I once did. I have over 2,700 hours in the game and I look forward to playing different games in the future (but first, I must finish the tutorials). If I ever decide to team up again in Icarus, I'll let you know. Thanks for asking!
