I thought your team had a better second half than the first and I think the atmosphere from us after the break would suggest it did feel a bit nervy after you scored, but when Colby Bishop came on and then scored the penalty it felt emotional. A special moment for him. We have really missed him this season. Looks like you enjoyed your day down at Fratton Park despite the result, hope you all had a good journey back. Pompey fan. Fantastic video. I drink in the SG prematch. The stout is the best drink, I think. It's quite expensive for Pompey but good beer. The atmosphere was great. Do you know the back story to Colby Bishop and his goal? He was our top scorer laat year then had heart surgery in the summer. We have really missed him and his goals. We didn't expect him back until 2025. Then, out of the blue, he was named on the bench. Huge emotions when he came on and it was unbelievable when he scored. Roy of the Rovers stuff. I think we wanted the victory more than PNE. Riis was a handful and when you had the ball, you knocked about well. Great video. Good luck for the season

I've been a regular at Fratton park since the late 60s and remember plenty of games with PNE over the years . Neither side seems to travel well . We took a bit of a gamble and it paid off . Colby Bishop has scored 20 for us in the last two seasons and it was an unexpected delight to see him on the team sheet after open heart surgery in the summer . Nice they gave him the pen . A good blog and it's nice you had a favourable impression , better luck next time lads . Respect to the fans who made the journey .

We did, was more a comment made towards the central and eastern south coast rather than the south west as we haven’t done Pompey, Saints, Bournemouth or Brighton before so Pompey is the first of them 4 ticked
The comment referred to the 4 clubs within a close proximity of each other on the south coast. So Pompey, Saints, Brighton and Bournemouth, of which Pompey is the first one we have done. We have done Plymouth, a good away day and an interesting place to visit, it's just a really, really long away day for us😄
Having beaten Burnley's score (Best away day in previous video) in terms of overall points out of 10, does that make Pompey/Fratton Park the new best away day in the Championship, or are southern clubs disqualified for shandy-drinking reasons? 😉 🤣
