I have an old model bike. I used to follow the traffic rules since I was issued a license but they still challaaned me that my bike have old number plates.
This is a big problem with media these days. Just highlighting the issue/problem and not giving any suggestion/solution. Along with issuing traffic fines/tickets, the traffic police should give good quality helmets with their branding/logos to the violators on a low/reasonable price...
Last month I was going home and a man was on motorcycle ahead of me he wasnt wearing helmet instead it was placed on its bikes fuel tank. His speed was barely 40 to 50 km/h. Suddenly a cow came on the road and he colided with it and flew on the other lane. I guess he fell unconscious the moment his head hit the road and a car ran over from him. I stopped and called the ambulance. He was barely breathing and later I discovered he died en route to hospital. It was so shocking for me watching this young man dying in such a way. I am sure if he was wearing helmet. He could have saved himself from oncoming traffic. The helmet costs around 2 maybe 3 thousand but your life is priceless.
