That being said, I think a ~60 minute substitution is very likely - depending on the game state of course.

I am rolling this week. My gameweek will be ruined if any of my players are benched/injured . only have ipswich defenders, nick pope and saka on my bench. HIstorically Xmas period has heavy rotations so I am extremely hesitant to invest that money into another high priced asset. Saka is a huge FPL asset and cannot be replaced. So i would rather sell and go for a Harry Winks (just an example) and go heavy on other parts of my team like you have suggested.

City have 5 good fixtures to get they season bk on track in way positive way .. Pep will wanna get his best players going coz after these 5 , city have tough run. Should I play Rogers tomorrow over João Pedro? I made the mistake of keeping him on the bench even after my gut told me to keep him in the team considering City’s poor form last week despite a green arrow, but I also now have Isak up front since Saka is injured

I wouldn’t usually go this heavy on defence but I don’t see any stand out midfielders to upgrade one of my cheaper midfielders too

Why would Arteta move Jesus to saka's position, when he's scored 5 in 2 games in his current role. It would confuse the opposition but can't see any other advantage. iirc Jesus is injury prone, so hard to see he can cope with the leg work required as well.
