@11:30 I like that you keep most of you doing the work in there mate, if people find some bits boring they can always skip ahead but in my opinion leaving it in the video is a good idea man, people like me love those slow bits that show how you're doing specific things. Even if it makes the video a little bit longer, always easier to skip ahead than it is to watch something that has been cut out of the video haha.
Mate, fantastic work. Just spent the entire morning watching all 14 videos. You've really set a high standard. Very impressive and very motivational. Keep it up Phil.
Definitely install the stage 1 on the wheel arches. I did and made a huge difference. What about the rubber grommets / stoppers? I would also remove the remnants of the carpet underlay as it absorbs a lot of moisture
I was definitely planning on doing this when I eventually start my project. Such an overlooked feature to add to the car. I’m not trying to be the fastest on the planet lol
I been watching you from the start and you been doing amazing work one of the best videos for an r32 gtr i have one and im doing the same theng as you butt ben doing it blindly you have helped me so so much figuring out my car and parts and hope you keep up the good work need more vids and details for my billing to 🙏🏻
Not sure if you were able to check out that link to another TH-camr that I posted on your channel. He is documenting all the refresh that’s his doing to his GTR r32. Very detailed and also knowledgeable. His channel name on TH-cam is Platoon Garage.
You can just put a strip of the stage 1 down the rear wheel wells instead of covering the whole thing. Its actually not beneficial to cover everything. Covering like 1/3rd of it generally absorbs the necessary vibrations etc.
Yessssss thats a great response mate, ive started to understand the video editing side a lot more now. Appreciate the feed back mate. I was thinking about adding a short intro and outro video? What do you think?
Definitely mate would give the video more structure when watching some videos when they suddenly end I’m like oh no it’s finished damm 😂 gonna start watching your other build series today really appreciate you content mate keep it coming reckon your going places on TH-cam good luck
Do you plan on having the rear interior pieces in? If so, probably best to cover the wells with both stages. Having dreams of doing this to my car one day!
Definatly cover the wheel wells and get some on the inside of all the external pannels doesnt have to be the extent youve done on the interior but a few decent size patches made from your off cuts will stop any druming the pannels might have great gob mate and the best thing about this build is it will be worth more than you put into it at the end
@@Motorsporttuningsolutions1 yea the cool thing youll have plenty of standard interior gtr's with to do sound comparisons with when your done theres plenty of decibel reading apps that we can compare them with
Yea fore sure, only thing ill have to consider is the exhaust types, ill have strait cut gear whine, alloy one piece drive shaft and twin plate clutch noise lol
At this point I’m just going to remove the internal “veins” from the power steering pump to disable the hicas side of it. I’ll do a video on how that’s done soon
Looking good mate! Are you going to install any sound deadening in the quarter panels and the boot panel? The boot panel made a huge difference in my 33 for sound coming in.
Appreciate everyone tuning into watch the videos.

@@FigjamR33 Nice work mate, ive got a soft spot for the r33. Ill have a new video in the next day or so brother

Yea it can only make a better experience.
i wish i never sold mine!!! love the 32
Yea I feel that way for many of my cars
So much respect for the level of time and detail you are putting into this restoration, cannot wait to see the finished product 🤙🏼
thankyou my brother
Always great content! Thank you
Cheers mate
Coming along nicely! Will have to do a comparison with someone else’s GTR without the added sound deadening vs yours
yea would be good to know how a stock interior gtr v this one feels like? great idea
Another great video mate keep up the good work. Hope it’s not too sound proof to hear that RB screaming.
Ohhhhhhh she’s definitely going to scream! Very exciting
Yesssssirrr
She’s looking real saucy, mate! Loving this build. You’ll have something really special when it’s all done.
HAHAHAHA thanks brother

Awsme mate, yea ive had a look at the channel. Great videos. cheers
I think you should leave the factory insulation n the carpet, once the seats are in you probably wont notice it and keep some of the originality
Yep i think so mate! Bang on. cheers
sick build loving every video. gives me inspiration for my gtr. your attention to detail is amazing
Thanks brother

Legend mate, appreciate it
Great builds. Love it.
Cheers mate
I wonder if you could respray or dye the carpet to a nicer finish some how. Would look awesome
yea i was thinking that, should have mentioned it in the video to see if anyone has any experience with dyeing carpet
Doing well definitely notice the increase in quality content good camera work and good explanation from yourself look forward to more videos 👍

Shes going to sound like the inside of a Bentley
Haha im going to use that Analogy. Awsme!!!
ナイス!
keep it up mate love seeing the progress!
Progress is key!!!! cheers mate
Do you plan on having the rear interior pieces in? If so, probably best to cover the wells with both stages. Having dreams of doing this to my car one day!
Yea mate ill be running the rear side covers so ill be 2 staging the wheel wells for sure
Definatly cover the wheel wells and get some on the inside of all the external pannels doesnt have to be the extent youve done on the interior but a few decent size patches made from your off cuts will stop any druming the pannels might have great gob mate and the best thing about this build is it will be worth more than you put into it at the end

can you do a cost breakdown when you finish this project
Yea mate i can do a video on the entire cost break down. May not be to the exact penny but will be very close
Wheel aches do look very sexy but unfortunately they are vital to make it quite
Thanks mate, and yea im with you on this. Ill be covering them up with stage one and two
Hey can I take this for a spin when it’s finished.
Of course my brother 🙏
What did you end up doing with the hicas delete in terms of the power steering pump?
At this point I’m just going to remove the internal “veins” from the power steering pump to disable the hicas side of it. I’ll do a video on how that’s done soon

Awesome start to a sick build man. How do you know how to do all this?
Thanks bro! Just years of experience working on projects, they all help to become competent
We like short shorts.
Wait, what??
Hahaha
