Charice blows up Wango Tango Village with this Pyramid Remix! She won a lot of new fans with her playfully singing JB's song "Baby" too! All day long the DJs only had to say "Justin Beiber' and the screams back were deafening! Awesome video Henry! Thanks for all your efforts to tame the crazy overpowering bass! Oh, thanks again for reminding me to wear ear plugs when Cha wasn't performing. :)
thanks for uploading! great picture. to all semiprofessional concert reporters, plz you may investigate in how to "armor" your microphones for the massive loudness, some cams have a "-10dB" switch or something, but there are some other possibilities including the skill of soldering a damper unit (of two resistors) into the mic connector.
@neovxr Thanks for the tech tips. I did have the attenuator on in my camcorder, and I was recording to a digital audio recorder w/ compression and lo cut filter set to max. The sound on my videos is actually a mix of both. The SPL of the bass was so great that it just overloaded the mic inputs (speakers were 5 ft in front of me). The sound system was set up to provide maximum bass thump throughout the open venue, which was great for dancers but awful for those videoing the show. Oh well!
@henrydtuason haha I see ^-^ that's why I suggest the brute "radio shack" method LOL. an external "dynamic" vintage type mic and an attenuator is the only thing safe. condenser mics in their construction need a higher internal voltage for higher SPL, so there's always a limit. compression should just hit peaks, nothing else. but 1 for sure, sennheiser killed it, with their diamond gadget for cha! :D
POOR AUDIO! I know everyone's been leaving comments on it, but i'll say it again! Charice did a super job as always, but it's a shame she had to sing a little louder to try to stay in it since those damn woofers were drowning her out!
I would pay anything just to see this girl perform live! Best live performer of her generation. She is the perfect definition for the word "singer".
lancecobi I agree
