I love this video. I find it strange because I have had this job. I ran a warehouse for 6 years. It's scary similar. This was an awesome representation of real controls as well. Could have used this game for the training course that I ran for forklift certification. Amazing job boss. I am impressed.
I know this a year old, but he did such a good job because he actually used to have this same job as well. He mentioned it in and old multiplayer monday forklift video
This is basically my jobi unload trucks on a forklift and put them on shelves for the salesman to sell and it's all car parts so that makes it even more fun and I drive like a 60 year old forklift that has a clutch and it breaks down half the time lmao
That dock plate is surprisingly stable. When you put it on I cringed at how little was actually on the vehicle. As for the chock, have you considered adding a dock-lock? It would allow you to precisely control the distance the vehicle is from the dock.
Good lord man, this is spectacular! I love the line of switch above you acting as indicator lights so that you know the mode of your forklift if you go hudless! Also I am getting major flashbacks to my old job where I did this same thing (except I had the extra difficulty of doing this on planes as well).
Where I work, receiving and shipping is done in the staging area. We have all our 80 doors on the same side of the building so we have to receive at the same place we ship to reduce the "put-away" distance.
Very cool! I used to work in a warehouse too, and we had hooks that came out from the building to grab the bumper of the truck or semi trailer and pin it in place in addition to the chocks, brakes, and ramp. That would be a cool thing to implement here, but you'd have to use a standardized bumper.
If the trailer move too far, the locking system with a sensor could even sound an alarm to notice the forklift driver that the trailer moved :') Like the real thing
Used to drive a forklift for CAT and I have to say it was one of the best jobs I ever had.... The only controls you are missing are adjustments for left and right. Darn good adaptation ! 98/100 Realism!
Wow you did an awesome job recreating the whole unloading and loading of the trucks takes me back to when I was a kid delivering goods with my dad it really brings back a lot of memories
This would also be something that I would use end game when I'm finished doing all the main survival stuff, once I'm done I'll simply spawning the parts and create my own Warehouse
I drive lifts for a living and watching you driving the lift had me think: It's basically like if i was a farmer watching someone play farming simulator... By the way, you are driving it right, slow and steady is almost always faster and safer. Only thing is you should really look around you a lot more, you're lucky its the weekend and you're alone, otherwise you might have squished someone's foot... or someone haha!
You should do a warehouse playlist where you send the crates somewhere and have someone in the truck deliver and send the crates and also someone to help you with the forklifts
It's really easy. 1 bearing will be the center pivot, use pipes or block to build out about two spaced from the center in both directions. Use a corner pipe or just another block and add bearings for wheels. Only power the front wheels, and don't make the engine super powerful. The bearings in the middle will be free spinning and as you go over things, it will pivot and act as the suspension
Pretty sweet build I plan on using it in my survival world that is if I managed to use it there, it seems more like something I would use in survival seeing as it's not modded
You so need to use this for multi player Monday .. teams that have to go pickup stuff and then bring it back and have it unloaded .. 2 trips and first team to unloaded both loads wins .. One person builds the truck and the other builds the forklift ..
Bro plz do an evolution series for this thing and make like a how to build vid for survival and maybe make a custom packaging station so the packages go on the dedicated pallets and try to use pistons to not have to go out the truck and delete the caution block it will be an awesome series
Imma make the forklift more realistic with number logic. Ik that he didn't bc he was doing it in vanilla. I just really like the realism that number logic gives

Could ANYONE tell me where I am supposed to get the parts for that fork?! I dont have any of the double pipe pieces or the actual fork.... I don't understand
The crate pallets and the truck need the "Survival Parts in Creative" mod, which doesn't work for me. Could we get a version of the pallets and truck without the crates?
I'm the mod creator, to make you sure, works for me, i don't know what the issue is, so i can't fix it. And i'm at vacation rn so, if you could give me details on what it says, i could try to fix it after my vacation.

I love it ım going to steam workshop

He used that forklift in todays mm!
Demonstrates how the rear suspension rides right over multi-level blocks... proceeds to chuck the tires with a single block high chuck.
:P
*Chock
Chuck is what you do with a useless chock
Yeah I was gonna say lol
Please do some sort of build series with this. Maybe some sort of city build with fan contribution?
Omg, the details...
I worked in a Warehouse and they way you made it it looks so perfect, well done!!!!
This is basically my jobi unload trucks on a forklift and put them on shelves for the salesman to sell and it's all car parts so that makes it even more fun and I drive like a 60 year old forklift that has a clutch and it breaks down half the time lmao
lol your job sounds fun :)
Oh and the trucks have garage like doors that slide up it's not like the truck you made even non 18wheelers
Imagine going home from ur job just do it in a video game
But really tho ur job sounds fun
I really hope y'all think it's fun working in a 90° warehouse all day
@@itdakiller2538 wach game called snowrunner and ask irl truckers their opinion
Great creation! Very good use of the survival crates from my mod! (Also, thanks for the bonus subs on my mod :D)
I did something for you in return - added this video as showoff!
That dock plate is surprisingly stable. When you put it on I cringed at how little was actually on the vehicle.

It's not a staging area it is a shipping/receiving area (so they can be sure they prep and receive everything and to keep proper inventory counts)
Where I work, receiving and shipping is done in the staging area. We have all our 80 doors on the same side of the building so we have to receive at the same place we ship to reduce the "put-away" distance.
As someone who works in a warehouse and has had to offload trucks before, this is grade A detail.
Im binge watching the whole survival series
noice, i bet your a couch potato
@@apersunthathasaridiculousl1890 LITERALLY

Why have i seen your comments so much?
@@Nightman5694 i see your replies alot
I dont think in an hour tho 😇
Dude i cant even make a good car in survival

The bogey suspension is amazing
Totally need to have a warehouse loading and delivery race with scrap man and kan!!!

This was really cool! I work in a transport company myself, so I see different variations of this system every day. Well done!
This is a really awesome build, I especially love the loading docks. Takes me back to my days working in a warehouse.
That truck is bananas
Awesome work. That forklift is fantastic ... err ... I mean as real as it gets. 👍
Wow you did an awesome job recreating the whole unloading and loading of the trucks takes me back to when I was a kid delivering goods with my dad it really brings back a lot of memories
This is awesome. I work in a warehouse irl and I’m going to build it with these pieces right now
Show me after you're done!
As a trucker, I can confirm this to be accurate. Great job, Moonbo
That’s nice. You jus forgot the receiver who takes an hour and a half after the unloading is done to count the product and sign off.
Moonbo, please make a steam workshop collection with all the parts&things featured. Thank you very much :D
This would also be something that I would use end game when I'm finished doing all the main survival stuff, once I'm done I'll simply spawning the parts and create my own Warehouse
my internet is barely working rn but a Moonbo upload is a Moonbo upload, can't miss that! :D

'its loads of fun'. Me: lol. pun.
It's looking so good!

Can you make a tutorial for the suspension setup for the back tires for the truck please
It's really easy. 1 bearing will be the center pivot, use pipes or block to build out about two spaced from the center in both directions. Imagine building a wear house like this at the trader , but around the item collector so it’s easier to offload
Yea but when you do it the end result is cool
@Navara Athala yea what is it
Pretty sweet build I plan on using it in my survival world that is if I managed to use it there, it seems more like something I would use in survival seeing as it's not modded
I used to do that for work funny with fruit & veg too very realistic and accurate looks great Moonbo :)
This is awesome, I really miss driving forklift
13:30 well I thought the wheel could go over stuff blocking it yet you block the back wheels anyways
As someone with 10+ years warehouse experience, can confirm Moonbo works in warehousing to be this knowledgeable lol
Got 14 min in and confirmed, yasss lol
hey how di you make the 90 degrees steering ? i made the same thing like you but it just steers regularly
this calls for a multiplayer monday episode
You so need to use this for multi player Monday .. teams that have to go pickup stuff and then bring it back and have it unloaded .. 2 trips and first team to unloaded both loads wins .. One person builds the truck and the other builds the forklift ..
Maybe u could build a bridge crane? would be nice to see it in your build
I don't know why, but a video like this is so entertaining
Scrap mechanic survival series with the whole scrap crew
absolutely amazing as always Moonbo!
