It’s because he’s aiming outside of the map. This is why you need to aim in 3rd person with tanks that have really slow shell velocity

@@jk844100 Yeah, WoT has a sort of automatic rangefinder mechanic, so you don't have to rise or lower your gun depending on the distance to target, the game does it for you. It can be extremaly buggy on ridgelines though, when it can't decide if you're aiming right at the hill or somewhere behind it.
