    unfortunately viewing on utube was not good as the artist blocked a lot of the canvas with his body. Also, the camera was too far away. it would have been nice to see the reference. sorry to complain, but maybe you could bear these comments in mind next time.

    Love Albert's pastels and his Nu Yawk accent. I love the way he adds those shots of strong color in unexpected places that just makes his art sing. My favorite trick I learned from him is moderating lots of greens with mauves (purples).

    In lieu of positioning the photo board to the right of Albert and more in a direct line from camera, may I suggest that a 'mini-player' screen of the original photograph be inserted in upper or lower right. Is frustrating not to see the realistic photo translated via Albert's creative process to his work/style/analysis.

      Thanks for the comment. It is actually very easy to do if we can know beforehand what the artist will be using for reference.

      @Carmelvisualarts  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      We have begun to do as you suggested. Even a still life can have a photo shot beforehand and drop it into the frame. Thanks again

      @@Carmelvisualarts I don't mean to be such a busy-body about it - a thought is to have THAT specific request in a list of things needed for the artist to bring that enables CVA to provide the best experience for audience/students on line.
