      Sadly no. Being exposed for lying outside the House brings the member into disrepute not the House.
      Now if he does it on the Floor when Parliament reconvenes again, then it can be deemed an attack on the House and An Attempt to bring the House into Disrepute.
      That is a separate breach of the Parliamentary Code.

      It's more insidious than that, he actually didn't answer the question he guided Nick to thinking of his own answer and didn't directly confirm or deny what that answer was when it came.
      Of course he'd never actually talk to someone who would respond to that tactic with "You're the one it happened to, you tell me." because then he'd have made a direct on-record statement he couldn't then go back and say "I didn't say that such and such assumed it for themself".

    The shocking part is that a significant number of voters in Clacton ever actually thought Farage would represent their interests as MP or even care about them as anything other than a way stay stay in the public eye. Nigel Farage has never been in politics because of personal beliefs or a desire for public service. He's in politics because it profits him personally.

      Farage took 46.2% of votes. This means that 53.8% did not vote for him. When I went to school. most meant more than any other amount.
      He'll claim that most voted for him and that most support him. The first is provably untrue, and the second is a claim he won't back up with facts.

    Mr. Farage has said he will not hold constituency surgeries, ostensibly because of the potential threat, but one which the vast majority of MPs accept as an important part of their duty. However, it is wholly consistent with his abysmal attendance record as an MEP. I wonder if any letters or emails get beyond his secretary?
