Honestly, these are such a weird breath of fresh air when it comes to Calamity themes... Most of them are energetic, action-packed and absolutely epic... Whilst these ones are not that. They are epic, sure, but they are way more laid back, especially the first two, and boy are they tragic and almost tear-jerking! Truly unique amongst the Calamity lineup. And of course, Dokuro knocked it out of the park!
Songs like this one, infernal catharsis, feral amalgamation and interstellar stomper are so underrated but as a musician they are SO INTERESTING and definitely my favourites over the more well known ones. Of course I do like DoG's theme but then everyone does and it definitely gets old a little quicker than the ones I mentioned earlier imo because of how engaging they are
Leviathans story always saddened me, she is the only one of her kind and has no one else to reproduce with, but finds solace in a friend, Anahita, who was also as alone as Leviathan. Poor gals, they just wanted happiness.

I recently started calamity blind. I was in early hardmode fishing when I was confused as to why opera was playing, went into the water, killed the ??? Out of curiosity and got my ass sent right back to my spawn
@@manachromeYT if you're skilled you can do it right after you get a decent set of wings, they're attacks while they hit like a steam roller can be dodged. counter scarf really does work in the fight as well

You lucky SOB I've been trying to get the Pearl of Entrallment for at least an hour. the first four times I fought it (in quick succession) I didn't get it, but now when I'm trying to kill it, she won't spawn. guess she finally learned from her mistakes, but that doesn't benefit me

I was playing blind and just farming ocean enemys to try and get a pirate map with zerg potions so I can get the drops from the invasion, then me not learning my dam lessons from perferators and astrum dues (I willingly used a titan heart on the platform) when I heard the strange theme and chose to kill her, about 5 seconds later my ass was same day delivered back to spawn
just beat this pre-hardmode in eternity +death mode w/ a friend using gear from aquatic scourge, it took forever but we got lucky as hell with them not both aggro-ing the same person for the most part
according to the lore, crabulon was an ocean crab that found its way into the mushroom caves where it died, so it does make a little sense that it shares a small bit of motif with the ocea boss
