I told my friend I went to see this and it slapped, and he replied "idk how that plot would work for a musical" and then I told him that the love interest, his dad, shakespeare in disguise, romeo also in disguise and back from the dead, and juliet's nonbinary best friend form a boy band and do Backstreet's Back and he went "actually that is the best musical"

Me and my theatre friends went to see the live performance in Melbourne. And I can't tell you how much I loved it. 10/10 would recommend watching it!
