  • If you've been on the internet at all in the past decade, odds are you've seen a creepypasta or two. There are tons of original stories and characters created by talented writers, but there are just as many stories based on a pre-existing franchise. With Pokemon being no exception. So join me today as we take a look back at some classic Pokmeon creepypastas.
    Lost Silver Game - www.mediafire.com/file/6eaygo...

    Lavender Town - Red & Blue
    Gym Leaader Battle theme - Red & Blue

    I like that BURIEDALIVE hinges on the fact that you have to believe that Red and Blue just ended at Lavender Town until some devs thought, “Oh, this might be too scary. Let’s design the rest of the game instead.”

      Nah he probably had weaker mons or it was a postgame event given the levels, the theories about it is fucky and doesn't make sense, sense it was a trigger in the game it could also just be an event that is unfinished, the crash isn't death but just no code on what to do next.

    I'm the artist behind the buried alive and white hand sprites ^^/ I've been wanting to find the person who originally wrote the pasta because I was OBSESSED with creepypasta in high school when I made the sprites, but with no luck and I doubt I'll ever get to meet them, but would love to. Lost silver was probably my favorite back in the day, I was so obsessed I could tell the whole story to my friends, start to end, perfectly. 😂

    If you like creepy black, I reccomend the picture of dorian gray, which is presumably where the idea for the pasta came from. it's about a guy named dorian gray who manages to stop himself from aging and feeling shame/pain/any negative emotion really, and in return, a painting of him feels all that instead and he eventually goes insane because of it.

    • @oakgreenoak

      Pokemon Fuchsia is the name of it. The twist is a good concept, and the idea of the game all being in the mind of an unreliable narrator is interesting. But it basically gets spoiled right at the start, and the fact that he killed his friend is just so overdone for a creepypasta. Would have been way better if she had survived and the protagonist believed that Koga had turned her against him.

    Ngl, I kinda forgot about these for the most part until the Hypno’s Lullaby FNF mod that was getting stuff done for it a couple years ago. It did such a good job referencing so many of these creepypastas with Monochrome being a standout example of referencing so much from the Lost Silver story. The unown writing, namely “I’m Dead”, “Hurry”, and “No More”, Gold’s body going from limbless to just a head like in the creepypasta, and even having the half-fleshed Celebi using perish song throughout to shrink the healthbar

    I always have a hard time reading through the "white hand" sprite, what the hell is it supposed to be?
    I assume it's supposed to be a hand? Like it's servered and rotting? But the flesh looks too much like thorned cloth and the finger bones are too thin to be actual fingers, looking more likes ribs
    The Buried Alive sprite at the very least does look like it could have been from a real trainer from the game

  • @ThunderbirdMaster
    @ThunderbirdMaster 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

    I really like Pokemon Lost Silver and Creepy Black because of the implication of them just being hacked carts telling a story. Adds the feeling of realism to the stories and makes it feel like they could actually happen for real. And with romhacks they already did. The real world has a lot of horrifying elements already and there's no need to invoke the supernatural in my opinion.

    One creepypasta (well, i think it would be considered today as an analog/digital horror video) that i really like is "Pokémon 731", Is really short
    it's just the player searching something in one of the routes of the og games, but at the end, they didn't encounter pikipek on gen 1, they encountered a pokemon with the sprite of various images related to the unit 731. it's kinda goofy but i really like it

    Now that Pokemon Black story? That's class right there.

  • @Kyumifun
    @Kyumifun 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +8

    I remember hearing about few more Pokémon creepypastas.
    The dollmaker is a fairly short tale (or i just don't really remember most of it) where Team Rocket .kills. an old man who was known for well... being a dollmaker, of course.
    And then a weird looking Jigglypuff doll chases you and kills you. Pretty simple, reminds me of how Banette is essentially exactly that.
    Second one is... i don't know it's name but it goes like this.
    A dude plays a game Gold or Silver. The difference in gameplay is noticable once they have to choose a starter, as Prof. Elm refuses to show them Chikorita for some reason.
    The player picks Totodile instead.
    Along the way, weird things happen and you learn that Jasmine's Ampharos is sick. Pretty normal, right? Well, apparently NPCs note sensing a strange smell, as if something was rotting...
    i really forgot most of the stuff but the climax was cool.
    After their long journey the player comes back to the professor's lab and finds their Feraligator dead, lying on the table.
    Then they're confronted by i think the player character's mother (or was it Prof. Elm?) who explained what's going on.
    Turns out, the Pokémon virus that infected Jasmine's Ampharos was not just a simple flu and instead turns people crazy/into zombies.
    The player character was infected from the start and they were the one who mauled their own Pokémon.
    The end.
    A bit confusing explaination but i did my best...
    I genuinely liked the premise, or general idea for it at least, using the Pokerus as an element of a spooky story.
    I think i just like when these creepypastas just work in universe and can be turned into legit stories.

    Back in the 90s, there was a creepy pasta that if you talked to a certain NPC 100 times, on the 100th time he'd tell you your mom died and to hurry home. If you went home, the person who killed your mom would still be in the house and would kill you too. After that you'd become a ghost type pokemon and could float around, fighting trainers and other pokemon as yourself. You could also get caught and then you'd play the game as if you were that trainer's pokemon. There would be long stretches of nothing but black screen until the trainer let you out of the Pokeball to battle. It was pretty interesting, anyone else remember that one?
