You keep you keys to your car. You ask the valet where he wants you to park it. Lock the doors. Throw him an extra $20-$30. Tell them you are keeping your keys.
Got a really nice dodge challenger. Catch is I’ve got a 6 speed manual and a kill switch. Can’t drive a stick? Chances are you’ll just leave my car where I parked it

He was an employee for a third party valet company. The valet company should have been secured and bonded to be held liable in cases like this. It wouldn't necessarily be the actually business owner such as the hotel in this case.
The valet was probably a contracted company. Larger companies do this to take liability off of there hands the fact they wouldn't help since it's not there valet employees is like a double strike not to trust them imo. That mans car should have been safe there was cameras everywhere but nobody scared to commit crimes anymore because the courts being so lenient in many cities. The valet should be the one charged he basically gave it away if anything make it look like your held up by armed individuals. Either way many flaws here
