i think he left 5 open because he was going to lose anyway, perona leader ability would rest borsalino and hound blaze on works on a 2 cost or less card

after the video, that kinda what I was thinking too. You never see scooping in Japanese events, so I guess it was kind of an indirect scoop.

@@atrocioustcg it was the optimal play, actually. borsa in hand is counter power, and the houndblaze in hand is also a bluff counter power. game loss for sure still, but he fought till the end!

@@leftstanding that’s an interesting way of thinking about it, tbh. If you’ve got don but no good way to use it, I guess you go in the ways of Nami & just feint. Interesting!
