Yeah. Quite Sweet. Actually I think Claus was helped by Gert (from Belgium) so I think credit goes to him as well.

Hi, I built my sim frame based on Claus’s and now inspired by your switches operation. I have built mine but struggling with the script. Could you provide please and what program based on. Many thanks Alistair

hello peter! great videos and affordable solutions for building panels! Could you make some videos possibly demonstrating the wiring and interface? i think this would be a great help, thanks!

      Hi.
I already got the panel mounted and working on the overhead, so I might be a bit hard to see.
But it is VERY easy. All you need is a OpenCockpits servocard for the servo and OC MasterCard for the rotary switches.
Then what happens is that when the "GND" switch is triggered there is a SIOC-script that engages the servo after 25 seconds.
I tought I all ready had posted it on my blog. But I could not find it. So I'll make sure the code is published asap. But I am a bit busy the next days.
But I totally stole this idea from Claus. See his guide at 737sim.dk/How%20to%20make%20automated%20start%20switche.pdf
      Cheers
      Peter

This is foil/film on plexiglass/foam. Totally DIY.
Other panels are engraved acrylic bought from shops.
