Can’t imagine why Aussies come for their holiday in Bali to drink in bars like these. Is it comforting to be surrounded by their own nationals? I just don’t get it.

@@wrd980 yep, I am Aussie and it amazes me. Why waste the time and money travelling to Bali if you just want to sit in a bar surrounded by Aussies like you do normally at home
@@hobo1704 I can only imagine it’s the cheap beer and hotels that attracts them. It’s not like Australia doesn’t already have decent beaches and far better weather than Europe. Bali is such an amazing and diverse island with such a rich and stunning culture not to mention fantastic landscapes. I personally steer well clear of mass tourism areas and their awful bars. They are truly cringe worthy!

You are thinking of the Y Sports Bar - located on Jl Padma Utara. They still hold those events on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.
