Arc Length and Area of a Sector Given Central Angle (Using Proportions)

Learn how to find the arc length and area of a sector when given the central angle in degrees using proportions. We discuss two examples in this video math tutorial by Mario's Math Tutoring as well as giving an intuitive look at why the proportion works for these problems. We make use of the formula for circumference of a circle as well as the formula for the area of a circle.
