In all honesty Sammie is amazing with Finley and takes on majority of the work for her but as much as I can help I will. This is all about working together as a family.

With my first son, I had to get him out of the bedroom before he woke his dad up. I had a C-section, so I didn’t move that fast. If the baby woke him up, he got mad because he had to get up and go to work the next morning. 🙄. With the 2nd, the dad was almost 6 years older (5.5 years between the boys), and he got up with him one night and when I woke up I panicked. I thought I hadn’t heard him and thought the baby cried itself back to sleep without me hearing him. In reality, his dad got up with him before he could wake me up. I wasn’t use to that. It only happened a few times, but those few times of sleeping all night was amazing. Family is about teamwork. It takes a village. All hands on deck. Raising kids isn’t easy, but it’s so worth it! I laughed when you said you would worry about Finley for the rest of your life. Because you will. You just don’t even understand all that will come over the years. My kids made me a better person 💯! Y’all are doing great!!! I’m loving watching it all!

Yall keep going with your instincts and she will never lack for nothing. Do what works best for y'all. I couldn't breastfeed, I was mom shamed by all the nurses but 1, to most of my family and friends, into making me feel like my daughter wouldn't be a healthy baby without breastmilk. Wrong!!! She never had 1 ear infection, never even had a cold til she was 7 years old. Finn is healthy, happy and loved thats all that matters. She will thrive under those circumstances. Congratulations yall, she choose some awesome parents!!

Yea, let those anti-formula peeps pound sand. I am endowed with two useless lumps of boobage. I worked so hard to try and get them to produce milk for my kids.... you can buy nipples with smaller holes for the formula to make her work harder to get the formula - that might help with her being lazy at the breast. My son never, ever wanted to latch. He was all about getting that milk from a bottle in bulk from the get go. My daughter couldn't handle the regular nipples and would eat too much and get sick a lot, so the smaller holed nipples were better for her. Congrats to you three! and you will do just fine.
What a Dad! You have bonded so effortlessly and she will be a Daddy’s girl because of it. I can see her now running down the sidewalk during trash picking yelling, Daddy, Daddy, look at this treasure! Sammie J is radiant!

Some of us are parents and we completely get it. The first few months are such a huge learning curve. And you were doing the right thing by giving the baby formula until the milk comes in. You are making sure your baby eats. That's all that matters. You guy's are doing great and are clearly meant to be parents.

You’re holding her perfectly now but most Dads find the football hold more comfortable. You could also ask Finn’s doctor to show you the football hold. Then hold her how it’s more comfortable. Tucker you are the bedt Dad. Your family priorities are truly amazing. When both my kids where born their father only looked after himself. I had very bad postnatal depression with my daughter and didn’t get any support at all. So I was glad he left me for someone else when my daughter was 2.5 years old, now 21. She does have medical problems with her colon , everyone thought I was just being over protective including , father, doctors, nurses but now she has to have a Colonoscopy because she has the first sugns of early csncer , hopefully treatable. Watching you both again through this very emotional time is awesome. This video was my first watching you. I’m still watching today. You make me happy. Tysm ✌🏻💜🥰😻

Having your first baby is one of the best feelings that you’ll ever have. It’s gonna be a little tiresome at times but you both will get through it. My youngest who is 19 now but she was in the NICU for 12 days so I had to pump every 2 hrs but I wasn’t producing much milk so they gave her both. Y’all are doing great for Finn and y’all will figure it out. The only advice I can say is try and sleep when she does.
What you do with your baby is the right thing she’s yours you will get a routine it will be yours you will learn what makes her happy and what makes you happy
You were right when you were talking about what’s important, once you bring a child into your life, the child is the most important, you find you will sacrifice for that child, make sure the child is cared for, safe and loved, having a child is the best and hardest job you’ll ever love, children are such a blessing, I’m so happy for your beautiful family! I was about to watch new season of something on Netflix. Got this notification and clicked so fast. First off she’s freaking adorable. Second u r doing so great. Don’t listen to anyones opinions. U know wats best for her by instinct. Different doesn’t mean wrong. Gosh so excited for y two. Sammi as a mommy is like wat she was born to do. So amazing edit only respectful thing I’d says is just careful with covering her up to sleep. They make sleep bags for babies u could look into if u wanted to. But obviously u r watching her constantly so no hate I promise. Just a suggestion from 1 mother to another. U r amazing
That’s what happens when you breastfeed! I had no belly the first month and my friend had her baby weeks before I did but didn’t nurse and my belly was flat and she had a little belly like four months. I nursed my second baby snd I had a lot of cramping B but soon went away but the belly went quickly away from nursing !

You do need some knowledge and education. Raising a baby is not a hit and miss adventure.

I had very bad postnatal depression with my daughter and didn’t get any support at all. So I was glad he left me for someone else when my daughter was 2.5 years old, now 21. She does have medical problems with her colon , everyone thought I was just being over protective including , father, doctors, nurses but now she has to have a Colonoscopy because she has the first sugns of early csncer , hopefully treatable. Watching you both again through this very emotional time is awesome. This video was my first watching you. I’m still watching today. You make me happy. Tysm ✌🏻💜🥰😻

Having your first baby is one of the best feelings that you’ll ever have. It’s gonna be a little tiresome at times but you both will get through it. It’s quite a rewarding feeling watching your little one grow up. Cherish every moment because you both will love every minute of raising your daughter. I remember when my son was born and it was like a feeling that I couldn’t explain. It’s was great, and I remember being so proud and really happy. Wish I had done this for my kids so they could have seen all our beautiful moments together when they were littles. My youngest who is 19 now but she was in the NICU for 12 days so I had to pump every 2 hrs but I wasn’t producing much milk so they gave her both. Y’all are doing great for Finn and y’all will figure it out. The only advice I can say is try and sleep when she does.
Yes I was saying the same thing about sleeping when Finn does. She is so beautiful & lucky to have you both for mommy & daddy love you both.
Definitely try to nap when she does….

I was about to watch new season of something on Netflix. Got this notification and clicked so fast. First off she’s freaking adorable. Second u r doing so great. Don’t listen to anyones opinions. U know wats best for her by instinct. Different doesn’t mean wrong. Gosh so excited for y two. Sammi as a mommy is like wat she was born to do. So amazing edit only respectful thing I’d says is just careful with covering her up to sleep. They make sleep bags for babies u could look into if u wanted to. But obviously u r watching her constantly so no hate I promise. Just a suggestion from 1 mother to another. U r amazing

That’s what happens when you breastfeed! I had no belly the first month and my friend had her baby weeks before I did but didn’t nurse and my belly was flat and she had a little belly like four months. I nursed my second baby snd I had a lot of cramping B but soon went away but the belly went quickly away from nursing !
