Easy. pre drilled 3 holes to mount the gf valves. They come with holes for mounting. Also I upgraded to a diamond plate cause the one in the video rusted out in no time. So i got a real deal 12x12 inch aluminum plate from Amazon.
Thank you for the informative vidoe. Just ordered all the parts but the true blue. Where did you get the plate to mount it on and how did you mount it on there?
I got the diamond plated from Amazon. 12 inch by 12 inch diamond plate. I used short screws to mount it. Idk the screw Size. So I took the valve to home depot to size it.
Awesome, video but looking at the prices seems like no real savings like 50% ,but the moral of the story is the education of installing and troubleshooting if needed that's where the savings come into play .I'm I correct in thinking this?
Of course its not 50% savings that's impossible given the price of the GF valves. But enough savings for someone that doesn't have extra money to shell out and that's also handy/want to be able to troubleshoot it if something goes wrong.

What size are screws that fit the back of the valve? Or how did you make the metal mount for it. I have seen the sheets at Home Depot. I just haven’t gone to figure out what size will fit. I love that idea. Most people use zip ties but I wanted to mount mines.
That aluminum sheet sucks get the 12X12 diamond plate from amazon. The sheet from home depot rusted out in a no time. I forgot the size screws but they're pretty short. I took one of the valves up there to match the threads.
I appreciate your quick response. I wish you would’ve made part of the video with you mounting it to the sheet metal. I am good with my hands but I don’t know how to mark those holes on the back of the valves to get it on the sheet on diamond thread. Yessuh. Will definitely make a video of the operation.
The Batch Buster's simplified my process. Wasn't expecting that kind of impact.
They did? I haven't been following it
Simplified it in which way? does it do something different than the valve in this video?

Well the video is made already and I'm sure I won't need to make another valve video for a while. This is 3 years old. Thanks
