The way a fiddle tune is played makes all the difference. There are phrases in this tune that deserve to be savored rather than rushed. Thanks for savoring! Beautiful.
Thank you so much for this! Beautiful. I have just heard this for the first time and you put so much life into it. It is now one of my favorites. From a Fiddler.
This is great! I was very surprised when I found out this video has so few views. I am learning on the fiddle and now I know some techniques to put into it!
Just for a second or two, at 2.20, Sebastian has lost it! Nice recovery and exchange of smiles--they both know. Lovely variety of guitar accompanying styles, I do like the very economical first style--wish we could see just what you're doing there. Masterful fiddle--many thanks to both of you.
@@thegoodtunes Indeed! Thanks for leaving it in, instead of re-recording--it's an education to see a strong player hit a glitch but not get flustered, leave a few bars and pick up as if nothing had happened. Very musical.
Thanks for not rushing a sweet, lovely tune. This is the most soulful rendition I have heard on TH-cam.
Many thanks for that

Joining you a few years late, but I've got to say... I could listen to this for hours and hours and hours.... And then some.

@@thegoodtunes. Hi guys love this tune and your way of playing it . Any suggestions as to what to play after it as a set ?
Such an elegant rendering of this tune! Thanks!!!
So good. I love it played at this slower tempo.
You're right it works nicely, Sandy.
Best version of this that I've heard! Might even inspire me to pick up my fiddle. ;{)

Very tasteful.
So beautiful! What kind of guitar is that?
Is this in GDAE tuning? I've played it in AEAE as Garry Harris wrote it and
had trouble . This sounds great without the drones.
Just fyi, the original Garry Harrison recording is fast.
