Roscoe was one of those actors who could come through the screen and really make you feel something. So passionate, so heartbreaking. He was a force. Over 30 years later and I am still moved when I watch him, especially his scenes with Marcy. May he rest in peace. :(

I am so very sad to hear of Roscoe's death. His role of Robert Barr was unforgettable, and his chemistry with Marcy was off the charts. I was completely in love with Robert in my 20's and re-watching the episodes recently confirmed I had excellent taste in my youth. Roscoe's voice alone was mesmerizing, so it made perfect sense his singing voice was gorgeous as well. My condolences to his daughter and family. He will truly be missed.

@Dora2.1 - The YR has been showing classic episodes recently that did feature Roscoe Born. My cable has ben out, so I have missed a few episodes. I don’t know if the show has posted a “In Memory “ notice or not
My heart like so many others is broken. Have loved him in every role. Began watching him way back when he was Joe Novak on Ryan's Hope. I also loved his music. He seemed like such a sweet man and kind soul but boy could he play bad boys☺❤ He left me a sweet reply on one of the msgs I left back in 2013 in response to one of his songs. My husband had just passed away and Roscoe's song had really touched my heart. I will always treasure that note and was honored that he cared enough about his fans, strangers to him, to take time to do that. It meant a lot to me and always will. My deepest condolences and thoughts go out to his daughter, family, friends and my fellow fans of his. Thanks for all the years of great pleasure you gave us, Roscoe through your acting, your music and humanity. You were the best and will be missed forever. R.I.P. sweet, handsome, multi-talented, compassionate and caring man.

Roscoe Born was a talented actor and played amazing bad guys especially as Mitch Laurence but he was also great at playing good guy. He would have been great playing an evil Cassadine or some other villain on General Hospital but we will never see that. Rip Roscoe

Great actor played one of best villains on oltl. Loved the writers throughout the years astound the viewers unexpectedly each time bringing mitch back onto screen! RIP 🙏
He will be missed. He played the role of the love triangle between Eden and Cruz so so well. There will never be another love triangle like this one thats how good of an actor he was. He almost stole Eden away from Cruz the love if her life Amazing actor. If these new soap opera actors want to learn how to portray a live triangle just watch Roscoe he did it with great acting skills. He takes your breath away in his scenes with both Marcy (Eden and Kelly) .
This absolutely breaks my heart. To know he took his own life ... ugh. After you had started posting his storyline here ... I reached out to him and told him what his character and talent meant to me as a kid watching the show. He was so nice to me. I pointed him to your channel and he said he would be checking it out since he hadn't seen the Robert Barr stuff in years. I don't know if he ever did but it just gutted me to find out he was gone. I cried and cried.

I was so saddened to hear of Roscoe's passing. Such a fabulous talent. He was so captivating to watch and his voice was memorizing. RIP

Robert Barr will always be remembered as the guy who almost took Eden away from Cruz.
