The smoke attack is so brilliantly designed, it punishes you for focusing on attacking when you should be trying to dodge wall-clinging projectiles, and forces you to realize that's going to be helpful in later fights. Really good game design.

The "Red Guy" in this seriously reminds me of "Red" from Cow and Chicken, including his voice. I'm guessing THAT is the reference the developer was making. It's a blast from the past, like with Jewel Ghoul.

My first thoughts upon seeing this guy wasn't Daffy Duck, but the Mask. His henchmen especially remind me of the Mask. His head and their heads and the seemingly smiling expression makes me think of the Mask. Oh, and the Mask often has guns he pulls from thin air. I think they're even cartoonishly big at times.

you can turn down shake intensity in the settings, it makes it easier to see whats happening also, the bombs in the mines can be slid into instead of punched, which throws it higher, but slower required for that one secret you missed
Strat for future bosses: if you take too long to get rid of them, they'll start to attack even more meaning you have to be careful and deal a lot of damage really fast.
Tip there is a hidden charather in every level try to find him in very specific spots of levels, some of em require you to get in happy hour to reach it and you will find him and then escape

And, the dash mechanic in this game is called, The Clutch-Boost And the green guy you're maiming through the game is named, Danton His wife, Nina, is in a room in the casino, the hub world, she shows you your in-game state I.e. How long you played, how long you screamed, how many things you broke, and so on
Btw chaos pressing the clutch button after starting a hammer vault cancels it so spamming the button to do it is really not recommended if you wanna not rage
