Abu Huraira reported: The Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) visited the grave of his mother and he wept, and moved others around him to tears, and said: I sought permission from my Lord to beg forgiveness for her but it was not granted to me, and I sought permission to visit her grave and it was granted to me so visit the graves, for that makes you mindful of death.

You can’t claim to want to love the prophet and want to have his parents be forgiven more than the prophet (saw)himself. we must rely on The Quran and Hadith. And both emphasize this over and over that no one can plead for forgiveness for the disbelievers. Disbelief is the ultimate sin.
Our prophet pbuh was 6 when his mum passed away and didn't hear about islam then as our prophet pbuh wasn't a prophet till years later.... Allah swt doesn't punish a person if they haven't heard of islam... am I wrong?

@@IRAM_rehmanCertainly, there was a form of Christianity that still had Tawheed at that time. Also, there were Arabs who followed the religion of Ibrahim AS, e.g. Zayd ibn amr who rejected the idols and without any guidance, followed the path of Ibrahim AS.
It's not like the world was left abandon by Allah SWT. Tawheed was there in the world even when our Prophet was a child.

As far as I know, until Mohammed s. a. w. was given prophethood (nabuwat) by Allah s. w. t. all those who followed the earlier prophets were Muslims,, except for those who had modified the religion according to their will . People who followed the earlier revelations from Allah s. w. t. were all Muslims of that time. Parents of RasoolAllah s. a. w. were not alive when he was given nabuwat, then how could they follow the Islam of today. They were Muslims of their time indeed. They were the choosen one's by Allah. Can some one explain why they are in hell if they lived in a time of jahiliyya and no messenger came to them? If they were to follow to religion of Ibrahim AS, did they recieve the uncorrupt message with proofs and evidences? The predominant way of life in pre-islamic arabia was idol worship as they didn't have a messenger to guide them.
There had the message of ibrahim AS . As they worshipped allah but had partners with him aka other idols . So they did have a messenger but it was corrupted.

As the Quran says Allah does not punish until he sends a messenger with clear guidance. Many of the sahaba were also idol worshipers until the prophet sa came to show them the truth.

name doesnt necssarily mean a person is destine for jannah or jahannam rather it is iman and good deeds if the person was on the religion of ibrahim a.s. prior to rasool allah then we are hopeful they are of the ppl of jannah and allah knows best. lets rather focus on our deeds and iman so that we may be of the ppl of jannah insha allah.
Unfortunately lot of heated debate in the comments. The truth is that we don’t know if parents of prophet sw are in heaven or hell. There is nothing explicit in Quran or Hadith. The Hadith that is being quoted about prophet sw saying that his father is in hell; that Hadith has been interpreted by some scholars as referring to Abu talib due to the Arabic word used. There is nothing explicit about his mother. We can derive our conclusions from the Hadith but it’s not explicit.
So, we don’t know. It definitely is not a fundamental principle of Islam that some people claim it to be.

Verily, a person said: Messenger of Allah, where is my father? He said: (He) is in the Fire. When he turned away, he (the Holy Prophet) called him and said: Verily my father and your father are in the Fire.

Allah knows and Allah knows that the parents of the holy Prophet (SAW) are in Jannah. This is a necessary Islamic belief. Those who do not believe this are not Muslims.

It is an Islamic value to respect elders so it is common to call elders as father. This hadith has nothing to do with the biological father of the holy Prophet (SAW). I don't stand by this opinion there are many other scholars who at least say we don't know . It is to Allah to put them in hell or heaven. As Our prophet didn't say it explicitly that his mother is in hell so don't make assmptions when he himself peace and Blessing of Allah be upon him .

Whoever is guided is only guided for [the benefit of] his soul. And whoever errs only errs against it. And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. And never would We punish until We sent a messenger. Sura 17 verse 15
Your lord would never destroy a society until He had sent to its capital a messenger, reciting Our revelations to them. Nor would We ever destroy a society unless its people persisted in wrongdoing. Sura 28 verse 59

there are hadiths even for women who took care of the prophet her name is haleema will go to heaven and the women who are giving birth to a child who is going to be the last prophet and at the time of giving birth, she has shown the palaces of Iran and whole the Middle East who has seen Skyes and light even seen stars the women is going to hell???? the one who talked to angels and gave birth to a very special child and experienced it .... Prophets fathers name was "ABDULLAH" which means “servant of Allah.” before Prophethood there was Abrahamic religion prevailing there and people were following it ..... there is not found any incident or saying that says the Prophet's parents were idol worshippers... you are sitting on a scholars chair spreading lies .... you can only give an opinion, you are none to give judgment based on your incomplete knowledge .... what nonsense ... if you don't have information regarding this topic you can say that I don't know about it I will further study regarding this ... it's not necessary to answer all of the questions asked ..... May Allah give you hidaya... and give you a chance to think over it again..... now it's a challenge for you to bring any verse from the Quran or authentic hadith that proves the parents of the Prophet were idol-worshippers, otherwise, at the day of judgment I will bring this case in front of God and will ask God to punish you on giving the Judgement on Prophets mother without any sahih hadith and twisted the Quranic verse gave wrong unmatched verses that don't belong to the topic.
What about the Surah Baqarah's 127, 128, 129 aayahs where Ibrahim A.s. prayed for the last messenger to be born in a muslim family?
The Qur'an does not say any such this. Ibrahim AS asked Allah to bring forth a Ummah of believers from his descendents. Allah SWT certainly did answer this du'a. However, some Arabs (the descendents of Ibrahim AS) were Muslims (Muhammad SAW and his Sahaba RA) and some were not (Abu Jahl and others). No where did Allah SWT mention that ALL of Ibrahim AS's will be believers. And Allah SWT knows best.

These 3 verses say that the dua which was made by Ibrahim A.s. ie to raise a messenger among the muslim decendents of Ibrahim and ismaeel a.s. was made true by Allah. So how can any one say that the Prophet's (pbuh)parents are in hell?

Attention: This is wrong explanation! In Sahih Muslim Hadith 203 the word used is Ab which means father or uncle. Arabs used to call their uncle Ab even in the time of prophet Ibrahim. Furthermore, for biological father they used the word walad not Ab, which confirms that prophet (PBUH) referenced his uncle in this hadith, not his biological father. See hadith in Arabic below:
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَيْنَ أَبِي قَالَ " فِي النَّارِ " . فَلَمَّا قَفَّى دَعَاهُ فَقَالَ " إِنَّ أَبِي وَأَبَاكَ فِي النَّارِ "
Additionally, our beloved prophet (PBUH) mentioned that he is pure and his lineage is pure, which also confirms that his parents were pious and on the right path therefore not in hell. Regarding prophet's beloved mother, the reason Allah SWT did not allow our beloved prophet to seek forgiveness for her because she was already forgiven therefore no forgiveness was necessary.
