Bingo was such an adorable baby! The little guy just melts my heart! I feel a lot of love for him! I think he did very well for having been a baby, playing with the toy for the first time. He is an intelligent little guy! :-)
Otters are pretty smart, especially asian small clawed otters which bingo is. In the wild they perform pretty complex tasks like using sunlight to dry out clams and digging holes near obstructions to catch fish. I imagine bingo understands what is happening to the balls but cares more about getting them out of the tower than placing them back in.
@@alfredschlicht2662 I honestly think your comment is in good faith, but trust me this owners are training this otter correctly, not because you dont see it in camera they dont give him treats. Just looking at the Otter behaviour I can tell that is extremely well trained and very well look after. He has the perfect family

He's got no incentive. He wants the balls, he already has the balls, putting them in the top of the toy doesn't do anything except make him wait to get the ball back that he already had. If it shot out at the end so he could run after it and chase it, I bet then he would figure it out.
