Some of those young ladies got hands! I like how the can seen to stay down on a ball and not let it go through their legs when I've seen 4 errors this week alone from outfielders allowing a ball to get by.

Pretty sure if a runner had been on first that body turn and look to first base without throwing the ball to first would be called a BALK. You can turn your head but not your body like that.

What happens in a game when a ball boy or fan interferes with a play?
The play is called dead and the umpires make a judgement call on where the runners would have advanced to.

Not really. All they have to do is watch the umpire for the signal. I think it's just a matter of training them a little better.
That just means they don't know the game very well. Need to study the game first!
Do the MLB organizations NOT teach these ball girls the difference between a foul ball and a fair ball??? Cmon it’s not that hard, watch the ump “If he motions it’s fair, leave it alone, if not then play it!!! Most of the girls are on point tho!!!

Personally, I think it's really stupid when these gymnasts decide to do a flip before throwing the first pitch. It should be considered an honour to be asked, not an opportunity to "show off".
Bro we're gymnasts and we do it to show off and if that's what you're known for you make it fun. So yeah we'll show off. Get a grip and just have fun lol
A lot of well known people get asked to throw out the 1st pitch. Musicians, politicians, etc but gymnists are not a household name so maybe that's why they do it.

Ball girls should all wear an earpiece that receives a sound from the booth when a ball is out of play. Silly to have employees interfering with gameplay like that.
You realize they have about half a second to react. There is no way they could have a system like that.

@@datmeme8967 but you would have to practice with the ball girls so they would get used to listening for that sound, or call, whatever you want to call it, and no team is going to spend time and money doing that
@@datmeme8967 plus, the refs use hand signals to signal fair or foul because it is easier for the players to notice a hand signal then to try to hear a shouted call in a loud stadium. Granted, this past season, you probably could have used a mic system with the crowd not being there, but when there are fans present, they make way to much noise for a system like you're suggesting to ever work
@@prollins6443 They'll spend time doing whatever you tell them to do if it is mandated. It wouldn't save every error, but it would reduce them.
