Grew up in Ohio and absolutely love the "old style" courses up there! Tree lined, thick rough, small greens.... You have to be able to hit different shots and really use your imagination on the greens! Great video fellas... Love this series!

Truly awesome course with great champions over the years! Thankful that the Champions tour is still in town each year. Firestone has a great caddie program and it looked like Will did an awesome job! Looks like you guys enjoyed the course?
That rough looked tricky to hit out of. Cool you got to play that course, especially where Tiger won 8 times. Close to half way through golfing old glory, then it's time to go international!
Being an ohioan, I didn't think this course was all that difficult when I played, but reading all these comments talking about the tight fairways, wooded holes, and thick tall rough, I realized, that's just Ohio golf, because every course is like that.
Hope will reads these comments, guy is an absolute beauty.

As soon as I saw you were at Firestone I thought of my Dad. He played there 1 time and his golf claim to fame is he birdied the Monster. He milked that story for years as we all would have. Great video guys thanks for the memories
Firestone is a tough place. Rough is tall and trees line every hole. Lots of history and a crazy course to play.
Congrats to Madjack for the big win on Grants podcast against 4 great you tube players. Cute story for the Firestone course. The NEC world series of golf was played there for many years and was underwritten by NEC Communications and GrayBar Electric. The top 50 golfers were invited to play there every year. My Dad was one the VP's of GrayBar and worked the tournament. Dad had given tickets to my younger cousins to go. So while my cousin's wife was in the big GrayBar tent on hole 10 where guests and off duty media person can go and get food and drinks she was talking to an older woman for a lengthy time. She asked to older woman how she got so many of the pros to sign her hat. The older woman just said she just asked. As the older woman walked back onto the course an off duty media guy walked up to my cousin's wife and said do you know who you were just talking to? She said no. The man said you were just talking to Tiger's mom. My cousin's wife said I didn't know her but she sure was nice : ). . .My Dad always had dinner with almost all the Pro's at a local steak house that was roped off for privacy. And my Dad did get to talk to Tiger a few times each year. My Dad passed away last January at 89 but loved the course and tournament. It was always a highlight of his year! Thank you for picking Firestone for your OH course to play. It brought back some great memories.
Also, Tiger never ate with the group. He was pretty focused and always hopped into his helicopter each day. But My Dad did say that Payne Stewart was the nicest and funniest pro in the group.
Love this Golfin ol Glory series. Can’t wait to see the courses international.

I got to play the North and West courses every Spring in college when Akron hosted the Firestone Intercollegiate there. It's so pure there and the North course is about all you can handle.
The best duo in golf hands down
Firestone was my home course in college and that comment on the 10th tee about the tee boxes is no joke. Tee boxes roll faster and more pure than most course's greens.
I'm biased, but I genuinely think the course condition of Firestone is top 10 in the country. It's immaculate.

Used to be a bag boy here back in high school and will was the man anytime he was off the course not caddying he was helping us run or wash carts
If you haven't already come to Idaho, you need to come to North Idaho. The Idaho Club in Sandpoint, the Coeur d'Alene Resort, and Circling Raven in Worley are rated tops in the country. Not to mention, if you haven't played North Idaho golf in the late spring/early summer, you're in for some of the most amazing golf in the world.
You guys always put out some of the best content on TH-cam. This is by far the best series going right now.

OMG you guys were 20 minutes from me! I LOVE this course and have played it twice, as well as marshalled both the pro tournaments and the senior tournament. Absolutely incredible golf course.
Just started watching BustaJack about a month ago. Love that they swing PXG, since that is what i have, but i have the 0211 irons. But they play so well together. When they are putting, there is not another TH-cam golfer that can come close. Love the combo vids with Micah, Grant, and Bob Does Sports. Keep up the great content. Wish you fellas the best.

Ohio low key has some dope golf courses. Firestone is just one of them. Love the series and thanks for the visit. They used to call Firestone Tiger's personal ATM, for obvious reasons.

its hard lol bent and blue grass combination is nasty
100% - sometimes I feel crazy out here struggling to post decent scores with nasty rough, gnarly green complexes, tons of trees, etc. This video makes me feel better.

How to be a big guy and get respect and not get clowned:
Be like Busta and FP and blitz golf balls. Immediate respect.
Got to play and stay during a long weekend with 8 guys. Stayed in the clubhouse over looking the 9th green, had a few drinks chipping and putting games on 9 till late in the night. It was a memory for a lifetime.
Firestone is an instant midwest classic, glad you boys got out! Hoosier State still holdin strong though!

That was a awesome video. Tough course. After watching your Sand Hollow video, ( which was awesome!!) I booked part of our road trip from Amariilo Texas to Sand Hollow resort June 6 thru 9th. I can't wait. Gonna be awesome.

I would like to invite you'll to play a round at my home course in KY. I used to work on the course, and the OWNER is out hand watering greens every day in the summer.
Short, par 70 course, that you'll can go really low on if playing well (59 watch good)
Also, we have some amazing BBQ I guarantee you've never had
Did a golf trip with the boys to Firestone. Top tier all around up there. Each course was so fun!
Used to be my favorite tour event back in the day, it was awesome to see in the Match Play Championship too!
I am going to Sand Hollow next year for a golf trip and will be playing Firestone this summer. Its only 20 mins from my house. If you go back to GA to play any golf I recommend Lanier Island and Legacy on Lanier. Florida give TPC Tampa a shot. They just put in new greens last year and the course was beautiful.

He’s human! Watching a great golfer like Madjack shank a shot last video and have a little trouble out of the rough early in this one makes me feel like maybe I shouldn’t be so hard on myself. I’ve been playing golf for 10 months. But like most perfectionists I demand steady improvement from myself. Seeing this gives me hope! ; )

If you guys ever make the trip out to Akron again take a look at J. E Edward Good Park. It’s kinda like Firestone South. Tight, lots of trees, but very beautiful. I played there all through my college days and I think you two would have a ball there.

When you get to Oregon a lot of courses are going to look apealing, Redtail golf course has an enormous 650 yard par 5. fun course for sure.

You can just comfortably replace "unfortunate" with "Ohio" in that sentence. Especially northern Ohio ... it's essentially the Eastern Timezones Washington State. The weather over here is typically garbage ...

Well you guys just made me feel better about the score I shot there. That rough can be 3-4 inches and still brutal. Felt like a boxer after 10 rounds with the champ after I was done.
Firestone is an amazing course. It was disappointing when it got dropped from the regular PGA lineup. Great content boys!
I was on the 16th in 1999 I believe and tiger hit one off a root like 240 on the green over that pond in front landed a high cut on the green it was the most incredible shot I've ever seen up close
