I watched the short video regarding proper attacking in form and techniques for Aikido, and agree 100%. We always have trained even when using the traditional formalised techniques to actually try to strike your training partner. It's the only way to learn if you're performing the technique correctly. If you just stand there and wave your arms about, or go in slow motion in case you actually make contact!! Then later get paired up with one of the Shodans, my goodness you will get a huge wake-up call. We had an instructor who started his martial arts journey in the early 60's with Karate, achieved 3rd Dan, then went to Ju Justu, and in the 80's also achieved 3rd Dan, as an Aikido instructor he was a 5th Dan when I trained with him around 2010, and he didn't mess around for one second.

Yeah I keep it informal, I don't put on a personality on my channel, we did the livestream after a long day of work haha

Great interview! Duncan has some experience that's for sure....a mild criticism but try to refrain from lighting up while you're interviewing...it lessens the subject matter and is rude to your interviewee...IMHO.
