Insert and retract the KxS Technologies DCM-20 PASVE® Refractometer for kraft chemical pulp mills

DCM-20 PASVE ® retractable refractometer is a proprietary design of the PASVE ® isolation valve. PASVE ® has been an established SATRON ® valve design in the pulp industry since 1980’s with over 60 000 installed units in global locations. In combination with KxS’ expertise in the pulp industry, the DCM-20 PASVE ® provides a unique compact design with multiple safety layers.
Safety is the pivotal feature of the DCM-20 PASVE retraction unit. There are four (4) independent safety layers to prevent unintended removal of the sensor in normal operation. During retraction there are three (3) independent safety layers safeguarding the operator. KxS specific user instructions must be followed.
