This is such a somber, yet incredibly healing song for me. I read Nilüfer’s interview about the whole method acting idea and the origin of the album name. The concept of searching for that one defining moment in our lives deeply resonates with me. The visuals remind me of the beautiful coastal Croatia, where my mom is from. I abruptly stopped visiting in the early '90s, following the Serbian-Croatian war. Being of mixed Serb and Croat heritage didn’t help either. But Nilüfer’s new work, and especially this song, feels like a well-meaning companion through those emotional landscapes that have been suppressed and stored away for many years.
The most earthed song I´ve heard so far- barefoot, mostly acoustic and all. If that song is another artistic psychogram of her (Nilüfer) or anybody elses state of mind I recognize a lot more growth and careful hope in contrast to stabilise or trouble for example (which are great but also dark). My compliment - great new brighter song.
Handful of artists that I will play straight through, all day, Nilufer being the newest member... she continues her winning streak here, it's brilliant (it's kinda Japan-ish, it's good).

Nilüfer Yanya has become one of my favorite artists. She really found her own language since "Painless", a masterpiece.
