Rossi was the master of tire selection, management and positioning himself to strike with grip in the last 5 laps. That new Ducati had superior power yet the Dr. showed his superior skills and mind game in this race.

Who, Marquez? Because had he not going off track, he’d of clearly one. But he didn’t win. So I guess was another dogs day to shine.
This was one of Rossi's best performances of his career!
Also, after the first few races of 2015 Ducati, particularly Dovi, were looking like title contenders, only for them to go winless and for Iannone to finish 5th and Dovi 7th LOL
And for Rossi to win only 2 races out of the last 15 in 2015.

No ,because the yamaha didn't listen to what Rossi said and complain about his bike , look at the difference between the M1 vs Ducati in the straight, Rossi said he very obsessed about the top speed of his bike compare to Ducati he ad " we have to be faster on the straight because overtaking in the corner is risk, he spoke about the problem of yamaha publicly that's why the management made his career worst and worst they fired him

As we seen every bikes has own specializing. Yamaha are very strong in high speed corner but still has power on straight, Ducati are superpower on straight and Honda are powerfull like Ducati but more user friendly. This is the real MotoGP. Single ECU regulation is trully a joke! especialize Dorna choosen Magneti Marelli to be the only one ECU supplier which is give an benefit for Ducati. it's kinda political policy

The way the 2015 Yamaha would accelerate with high lean angles. The weight shift from mid-corner to acceleration was by far the best of all the 2015 bikes.
