Yeah, like at the beginning, Juno can only see that Mark is really cool, plays the guitar, etc...and she kind of dismiss Vanessa as she finds her boring. But then she realizes that she will be a really good mother. And this culminates when she decides to give the baby to Vanessa, even if Mark is not in the picture anymore.
And being humble enough to get on her knees in a public place. And thanking Juno for this precious moment. The teenage kid giving emotional support to a grown up adult is very meaningful
I love seeing the happiness in Juno's face knowing how loved her baby is going to be by Vanessa. I also love how Vanessa's face lit up when she felt the baby move after she spoke.
This is when Juno knew she had made the right choice. I feel like this is where she knew that Vanessa would love her baby so much. It's such a beautiful scene.
As a young adult, maybe 20, when this movie came out... I'd never really thought about having children or getting married, it just was never a priority for me. At 30, with a wonderful man as my partner, it's what I want more than anything. This scene pulled on my heart strings then but I can truly understand the full gravity of the emotions in this scene now, as I'm ready for a baby but it just hasn't happened for me. Jennifer Garner is amazing in this portrayal.
Your situation is partly why women were encouraged to start families early. It used to be ok to tell a woman to her face she was waiting to long to have kids but thats no longer the case. I forsee tens of millions of women in their 30's and 40's all hit by the no baby reality in the coming years.
38. Just went through 6 years of ivf to have our second 10 years after the first. It's a harsh miserable realization for many currently, there's no waiting for the future.
This makes me wish that fertility was higher for women at an older age. When people are at their most fertile is often when they are just not ready to be a parent as they are barely out of childhood themselves.
Just because it didn't happen to you, doesn't mean it won't. For Vanessa character it would never happen because she had reproductive issues. So no, you definitely can NOT ''fully understand''. Not having a baby yet is NOT the same as knowing that you will never have.
I just love how Juno is so happy to see that her baby is going to be so loved and cared for by this woman. You can just see it in her eyes.

I love that Vanessa asks before touching, she's so considerate and caring.

I nearly cried when Vanessa was feeling and speaking to the baby. Such a great scene....
"I was just shopping. Y'know, with my girlfriends"
"Heh, you're gay?"
"No"
"Oh, just ignore her"
"Okay..."
I love Juno's personality so much
This scene hits differently at 29 with infertility than it did when I was a teenager.
I’m sorry.
Everything happens for a reason. I send you lots of love.
Oh god. I am at the same age in the same position. I really feel your pain :(
YOU ARE AMAZING!!! GOD HAS PLANNED SOMETHING FAR BEAUTIFUL FOR YOU!!!❤❤
Why not adopt a child? If you really want one, don't let anything stop you :) plus a lot.of children need homes!
"they call me the cautionary whale" 😂 😂 😂

"Vanessa, if you're still in, then I'm still in too"
I love this movie. Vanessa really deserved this baby.
Part of me wanted Juno to keep the baby but she’s sooo not ready and Vanessa is going to be such a good mother
Jeniffer is awesome in this scene

0:53 that line is so random, I love it 😂
I love that line, not so random,, probably sort of thing I would say.
@@starlight122012 Are you really that tactless?
What phenomenal performances from this cast. I forget how impactful this movie is
This movie is good until you have to study it in English class
Go on.
please, continue.
Would love to hear more
that can ruin anything
I don't even want to breed but this scene gets me every time. Great acting.
You don’t want to what?
Jeez, people are not some horses, they procreate not ''breed''
Is it okay that watching this made me bawl my eyes out?
Why are they doing this in the mall?
Because she just stepped out The Evilator. 0:42
Motherhood is not for me, but it's so sad to see people who long to be a mother but they can't. Actually they can! and Juno had proven that
The friend of juno is so funny ha hahahaha xD
I love this
Sweet angel, it killed me...
''Cautinary whale'' lmao

Aww
:1.30,
Was I the only one who noticed Leah’s judgmental stare towards Vanessa? 😂
she´s a teenage kid wanting to protect her friend. It´s kind of endearing actually
I ship them so hard :3
