- Are you eager to learn how you can leverage the Nigerian economy to your advantage? 🚀💵
Then join us this Democracy Day for another edition of Nigeria’s foremost thought-leadership event ✨🔥
Theme: Democracy and the Free Market Economy.
Hear from leaders like:
Gov. Charles Soludo (Governor of Anambra State)
Yakubu Dogara (Former Speaker of the House of Representatives of Nigeria)
Babatunde Fashola (Former Governor of Lagos State)
Bishop Matthew Kukah (Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Sokoto)
Olusegun Adeniyi (Chair of the Editorial Board, ThisDay Newspaper)
Kola Oyeneyin (CEO of Opportunik Global Fund)
Titi Oshodi (Special Advisor on Climate Change and Circular Economy to The Governor of Lagos)
Mr. Oluseun Onigbinde Cco-founder and Director of BudgIT)
Kukah telling the truth. People who have been in government protecting their colleagues and former colleagues
I second the vote for Gov. Fashola to head that committee...or some other committee where he can actually affect policy. We are sitting on our hands while our best and brightest are doling out beautiful policies in books, treatises and friend-circle debates. Mr. President, give us the opportunity to help you...let us show working!
Thank you, The Platform
I like Fashola's distinction of wage and salary. And it made me understand the global concept of minimum wage better.
Amazing panellists! Nigeria surely has the human resources with the best brains. Hopefully, one day, Nigerians would truly sing a new song!
Prof of solutions ❤
Important point on the separation of minimum wage from salary. Goes back to where Kukah pointed out the importance of rigour in policy making.
Prof. Soludo ❤ 🔥
Bishop
Soludo speaking facts
Wonderful, can our leaders follow their suggestions & recommendations
People in government absolving themselves. The buck stops with the government to set well thought through policies in motion like Fr. Kukah is saying
Bishop Kukah has so much sense of humor. So the new song the pastors prophesied at the beginning of the year is the "National anthem "😂
great
"Everyone operates at a Level of lies/light available to him"...
IMO, the only person that sound real here is Bishop Kukah.
It is interesting that Soludo is saying the water factory guy said he cannot pay because of the cost of producing his own electricity. Which still boils down to government. Why can't government solve the issue of power and bring down cost of production. The government is still the problem here
Mr. Moderator, put away your phone please. This obsession for our phones is becoming an epidemic. To be moderating this kind of panel and can't keep your phone away for 1 hour. Terrible!
Dogara is being insincere by saying give what is available to the labour leaders to pay themselves, in the first place will u equally allow them control the revenue of country? So that they know the real revenue?
