The Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway, is a 16 mile return journey by narrow gauge steam train through beautiful Mid Wales countryside.
Trains mainly spotted at the level crossings at this heritage line, with steam engine No. 2 ‘the Countess’, build by Beyer Peacock & Co. Ltd. In Gorton Foundry, Manchester in 1902. Untill1956 this engine was in service on this line, and now, fully restored as a heritage train.
Also filmed, a 230 h.p. diesel locomotive which was one of a batch of 91 built at the Diephulzer Works near Bremen, Germany, in 1979 for the Taiwan Sugar Corporation. It carries the Diema trade name and was delivered new to the sugar factory at Sanhua in Tai-nan County, and in service now at the WLLR since 2004.
De Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway, is een 16 kilometer lange smalspoor stoomtrein belevenis door het prachtige landschap van Midden-Wales.
Treinen in deze film zijn voornamelijk gespot bij spoorwegovergangen op deze museumlijn, met stoomloc No. 2 'the Countess', gebouwd door Beyer Peacock & Co. Ltd. In Gorton Foundry, Manchester in 1902. Tot 1959 was deze loc in dienst op deze lijn, en nu volledig gerestaureerd als een museumtrein.
Ook gefilmd, een 230 PK. diesellocomotief die deel uitmaakte van een serie van 91 gebouwd in de Diephulzer-fabriek nabij Bremen, Duitsland, in 1979 voor de Taiwan Sugar Corporation. Het draagt de handelsnaam Diema en is nieuw geleverd aan de suikerfabriek in Sanhua in Tai-nan County en sinds 2004 in dienst bij de WLLR.
Die Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway ist ein 16 Kilometer langer Schmalspurdampfzug erlebnis durch die wunderschöne Landschaft von Mid-Wales.
Züge in diesem Film werden hauptsächlich an Bahnübergängen auf dieser Museumslinie mit Dampflokomotive Nr. 2 'the Countess', gebaut von Beyer Peacock & Co. GmbH In Gorton Gießerei, Manchester 1902. Bis 1959 war diese Lokomotive auf dieser Linie im Dienst, und jetzt komplett als Museumszug restauriert.
Auch gefilmt, 230 PS. Diesellokomotive, die 1979 für die Taiwan Sugar Corporation in einer Reihe von 91 im Werk Diephulzer bei Bremen gebaut wurde. Es trägt den Handelsnamen Diema und wurde neu an die Zuckerfabrik in Sanhua im Landkreis Tai-nan geliefert und ist seit 2004 bei der WLLR angestellt.

Great video! Certainly an interesting signalized crossing along that line. The AHB certainly has some weird gate mechanisms and lights, along with not having any alarms or bells!

Yea, it does appear that there are two alarms or bells on the backs of the signals with the gate mechanisms, though I do have to wonder why they didn't work.

@@freebrickproductions There are deliberately no warning bells. There is a house right next to the crossing, and they comply with requirements as they are.
