    Can you please explain total extra time you added as a thinktime where you added pacing?

    Could you please explain why you are dividing 175 / 25 at 8:34, shouldn't it be 175 / 150 iterations???

    • @udaykumar-mu5cu
      @udaykumar-mu5cu  ปีที่แล้ว

      Because we are going to do it with 6 users 6 * 25 = 150 , that's why we are dividing it with 25 iterations

    Hi Sir- incase if I have more than 3 scrips and each script has 10 transactions then we should consider total transactions are 30 right.. And also why we consider 6 users in your formula, what if 9 users or more users takes .. Please explain

    • @udaykumar-mu5cu
      @udaykumar-mu5cu  ปีที่แล้ว

      According to formula I can achieve my Target with 2.5 users but I want to use some delay for which am increasing user load to 6, we can also user 9 user's but think and pacing should give more..

    if the iteration time is 5 sec at one time and 7 or 10 sec another time i.e dynamic then how we will calculate the iteration time

    • @udaykumar-mu5cu
      @udaykumar-mu5cu  ปีที่แล้ว

      Take average one from 1 user 10 iterations,so that you get accurate value

    Hi I am new to Jmeter and performance testing. I have requirement to achieve 10TPS with 12 transactions for 2 hours. If I don't know the iteration time, how do I calculate VU,Think time, pacing. Can you please help on this.

    • @udaykumar-mu5cu
      @udaykumar-mu5cu  9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@rizwanamd8445 okay here you have 12 transactions you have to achieve 10 tps for 2 hours = 10*7200(2 hrs in seconds) --72k transactions should be executed in 2 hour's that's the case
      Assume your 1 iteration time is - 25 second
      You need to make total of - 72000/12 = 6000 iterations
      If you take 1 users am obviously it takes more than 2 hours
      Assume you taken 30 vu
      Assume you have taken 30 users
      6000/30= 200 iterations
      200 * 25 (1 iteration time) = 5000 seconds
      Total time is 7200-5000 = 2200
      2200/200 = 11 Seconds as pacing you can use
      Conclusion - with 30 VU and 11 Seconds pacing you can achieve this 10 tps

    why rampup time we assumed 6 sec

    • @udaykumar-mu5cu
      @udaykumar-mu5cu  ปีที่แล้ว

      As it's just 6 users gave 1 sec for each user, you can give as per your requirement,, ramp up is just to see while user's gradually increasing is there any spike in responses or its constant...

    175 / 8 transaction right but not 175/25, bcz we have only 8 transaction in script not 25 transaction. 25 transaction per user complete count ,

    • @udaykumar-mu5cu
      @udaykumar-mu5cu  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Here 175/25 means we need to do total 25 iterations which is nothing but each iteration user should wait for 7 seconds.
      If it is 175/8 will be around 22 seconds it's huge delay..

    I’m not sure I understand, what’s the difference if you set the
    Thread to 1
    Ramp up to 1
    and Iterations to 150
    Cheers 🎉🎉🎉

    • @udaykumar-mu5cu

      Hi Manila,
      If you give thread group to 1 and ramp up 1 and iterations to 150
      For example your script contains 8 transactions then it will be 150 *8 = 1200 transactions will be executed..
      Thanks

    • @maniladevotee3595
      @maniladevotee3595 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@udaykumar-mu5cu Exactly that would be 150 per API with a total of 1200 samples or TPH but my question was, what's the diffrerence to the values you set on the thread group.
      Cheers!

  • @venugopalareddyadapa5765
    @venugopalareddyadapa5765 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    If 1200 TPH means.. each transaction 1200 times, but you achieved all together.. Here your TPH 150, not 1200

    • @udaykumar-mu5cu
      @udaykumar-mu5cu  ปีที่แล้ว

      My requirement is to to achieve 1200 tph all together not individual transaction level..

      Yes right

    • @HighFiveLowFive
      @HighFiveLowFive 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Tph would be transactions per hour, not total, in this case to achieve 1200 txs you need 750 users to achieve 1200 at 1.6s per transaction
