Me and my dad use to use the same tire changer years ago, thank god those days are behind me lol. But I would recommend mounting it down somewhere. We had ours on a little slab in the back yard.
Yeah I plan to mount it in the shop, I just haven't decided where I want it. I would definitely work a lot better that way.
