Jake, keep being you do. Listen to your Dad, Pawpaw, Lester, and the inspectors suggestion. They have been there, done it. You keep being you and listen to yourself. You are doing an excellent job. Keep up the good work. Honey Hill is coming along and will be a great homestead for you and your family.
Jake you have a real job. You are a husband, Dad, and parent to several beautiful animals, plus remodeling your home, making your land work for what you need and making videos to entertain us. Forgot son, brother, nephew. I count at least 9 jobs rolled into 1 amazing young man
We all know that Jake is a hard worker and has accomplished a lot on his properties. But unfortunately working for yourself doesn't draw a paycheck, and all the remodeling needed for this property is very expensive.
I'm a 70-year-old woman and my construction knowledge is very limited. The ONLY thing I have any experience with is self-leveler and it's amazing stuff. I helped my husband do two floors in a nursing home and it worked like magic. Keep on keeping on Jake...you're the best!
My mama taught me that if you don't have something good to say, don't say anything. Some people live off of be hateful. They don't know how be happy . Jake you have worked hard all by yourself. Sending a hug , feel it❤
JAKE PLEASE Don't Let Negative Thoughts and Negative People Try and Put You DOWN,,,You Work So Hard,,,AND I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHAT ALL YOU WILL HAVE DONE,,, CONGRATULATIONS
Jake don’t scape any tiles or work in the attic without the mask to protect yourself! If you didn’t know no one should criticize you! Just don’t let Jr. or Lyssa to be in there until you get all the asbestos covered and sealed completely! Make sure you take your clothes off before walking into your now home! Maybe you could get those cover jumpsuits to wear over your clothes. I’m just an 76 year old retired nurse just trying to help you out not criticizing anything you for what you have done just trying to help you! Love you and yours!❤️❤️❤️
Jake don't listen to those haters! You make that house your own!! I love watching you put your blood, sweat and tears into this house for you and Lyssa and the kids. You are Amazing ❤️
He really is just the Hardest working man and So dedicated to his family I love when people say things kindly because he’s willing to take advice but those few who are just nasty make me want to 😢
Please block all the haters!! You are such a hard worker! So talented! You care so much about protecting yourself and your family! I trust your process!!
Go with a thick underlayment. It will seal it and it will leave the floor level. Word of advice from my mistake before. Do what you're gonna do to your ceiling before the floor underlayment. YOu are doing an amazing job, Jacob!! Proud of ya man!
Get em Jake. I would love to see any of these arm chair quarterbacks (including me) try to keep up with you during each day. Just try to stay safe and do what’s best for you even though I have to say I’m proud you do your research. Leveler, thick underlayment, floating floor. You have to seal off and leveler on the bad spots. The thicker the flooring, the better. Experienced old home renovators here 😃
I am so excited to see the results. I’m glad to hear Crandall is coming to help you. I thought of him as soon as you started yours. I’m proud of both you and Crandall for as young as you are. You know a lot.
Jake, you have a true treasure in Mr. Bill. Neighbors like that are not easy to come by these days. 👍👍👍 I am thoroughly enjoying watching you transform Honey Hill. You are working so hard. I can hardly wait to see it completed, with you, Lyssa, and Cowboy Jake Junior all in place. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ 💜🐾🐾💜
Jake, you should be so proud! You and Honey are going to have the most glorious, beautiful, homestead in Texas. Not only that, the two of you can say, without a doubt, that you built it, day by day, with your own blood sweat and tears. What an amazing accomplishment!!!! May God bless you and your beautiful family abundantly! Nobody deserves it more than your beautiful family! Blessings!
@kathygott6383 I'm so very excited to watch the progress. It's a brand new start as a family. I absolutely love the house, it has so much potential and between this beautiful couple they will have it looking amazing in no time.
You sure do work hard son, I can't wait to see what your home becomes, I'm so proud of you for all you have done & hope you are proud of what you're doing to, love y'all❤
I have always said that you are one of the hardest workers that I know. I admire you taking all of this on and you are doing it all yourself. I get so excited to watch the progress and I look for your videos every single day, multiple times a day. Thank you for continuing to share with us. Once the sheetrock starts going in the house, well that is going to be exciting but also the new flooring too. :) Cannot wait to see it all.
Jake, is there a contractor you can talk to? That would be the best thing. If you can get the floor leveler put down, I know I use the vinyl plank peel and stick flooring. I'm telling you, they conform to the floor because my floor isn't level and we wanted something to conform and not stay rigid, because they'll pop and crack. You sweetie do a great job making a living. Don't you pay any attention to those Gladys Kravits nerds 😂😂 Love y'all!! God Bless❤❤
Jake, I may be a few years older, ok a lot of years older, than you, and I can't recall EVER knowing a young man your age who worked/works harder than you do. You should be very proud of yourself because I am.
Jake, you need to check if the new road will affect the water flow of the land. You said you were filling in the ditch when you started. That could definitely affect the water flow when it rains. Installing a small culvert would solve the problem. Keep up the good work.
Jake your doing a great job keep positive don't let the negative put you down older homes always have surprises but there surprises can be solved old homes are charming an once lyssa gets decorating it's going to be gorgeous your doing great Jake
Use the same flooring throughout the house, cheaper in bulk and looks better. Your doing a great job!!! I bet honey can't wait to do some decorating!!!
Don't let Jealous, Miserable, Mean people get to you. You're on Top, Accomplishing Goals and Enjoying the Rewards while having a Great Feeling of Accomplishment!! There is No Better Feeling! Keep on Trucking, Jake besides I have to live through somebody
Jake those are called "envious "people who never followed their dreams ! ! You're a hard worker and earn respect for this. We love you and your courage to do and be. Blessings 🙏🫶❤️🫶🙏
Jake you are one of the hardest working young men I have ever seen. I am so impressed with your knowledge and work ethics. Not many people could accomplish what you have in such a short amount of time. God bless you and always remember, we all are here and cheering you on.
Hey Jake, the house is coming along. You're doing a great job! You should maybe ask Uncle Lester how many loads he needs for his long driveway at JLnorth. You would get an estimate about how much gravel and dirt you would need.
Jake please wear a mask anytime you are working around asbestos. It’s probably better not to disturb the tiles and just seal them off. I’m sorry people are mean. It’s pretty obvious you are a hard worker. Sometimes people are not happy unless they are being rude. Much Love to The Morrow Family ❤❤❤
💚💚💙💙💚💚 Progress. Progress. AND MORE Progress. Wow. Jake, you are seriously burning this suckah OUT. I love Demo and Rebuild Videos. I am in heaven. You are amazing Sir J.
What you have a life.wife, new bady boy, cows, horses, new home you are working on and so much more. Sending love from Florida. You do you I get to enjoy the content.
Haters jump on the people they usually wish they could be like...so take it as a compliment ....and keep entertaining those who arent so insecure. Your babies are in for a fabulous life...all provided by you... Well done ...your family and friends are so so proud of you 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Jake you are one in a million, hard working family loving. You young man are what I call a worker bee. My grandfather had a ranch, and I know he was always working, everyday all day, and I loved every minute I had there. Keep being you ❤
Speaking as a ceramic tiler, you can leave the flooring, self leveling if needed and tile right over it. Or put some membrane before tile. . It’s doable. 😊mortar will level your tiles.
Jake, you are an amazing human...and so darn hard working while entertaining us too!!! I love your work ethic and humor. You are my favorite to watch of all those from the family. Please ignore the negative Nellie's! Keep on Truckin' on!
Oh my goodness. Well you certainly have a lot of advice on what to do about the tiles. You do you. Keep up the good work. And for those who say get a job 😂😂😂. You are a very gifted successful video creator. You have a job.
Jake I think you’re doing wonderful work on the house. You’re a hard worker and setting goals and achieving them. I was just wondering if field tile was help with drainage issues off of your property. I think that’s what it’s called. It’s long black pipe with holes in it. We put some out in our hay field after the state department build a road through our farm. It changed the drainages on our property and we had to put field tile in to keep fields dry. We used a large single plow and rolled it out. It helped us. Lester has one of the plows that you could use. I’d also put a culvert in where you are putting your new drive. That will allow the ditch to drain.
Learing on the job is a good learning lesson. Perhaps at a later date (warmer weather) id go back and put a small colvert in under the driveway ditch, so you don't get it washed away, or weakened next winter, and not be able to get the grain train out there to feed the cows. Your doing a fabulous job Jake, big hugs from the UK 🇬🇧
Jake used the sealant you have talk about to cover up the asbestos in the tiles. Then…. Self-leveling products are cement-based compounds that create smooth, flat surfaces. You're such a hard worker...highly motivated and full steam ahead; all to achieve your dreams! 110%! You're inspiring for all us young people who can see that you get out what you put in. So proud of you!❤❤❤
Great job Jake. Looks like it will take several trucks of dirt and rock. On the side of the fence is standing water, might need a culvert on that area to have water run underneath, just an idea!
Jake, have you checked to see if water/moisture is coming in under the outside walls before you put anything to level the floors. Looks like all those tiles fail/ crack due to moisture, not traffic. Just a preemptive thought on my part. Your doing a great job.
I live in a house that is on a concrete slab. The floors are so uneven, and I've only lived here for 1 year and had flooring put in with a thick underlying, and the flooring is popping up. If I could do it again, I would do the self leveling. Just from my experience 😢
Jake I love your videos, and love to see you transform your House 🏠🏡. Don't forget to stay true to yourself, and we love you guys just the way you are.....❤❤❤❤❤💜💜💜💜💜
Jake, the ditches on the side of the road are going to fill with water, and your dirt will either wash away OR dam up the water. You really need a culvert pipe in the ditch, to drive over, then put dirt/rock over that. Talk to Lester about how his "dry" creek crossing didn't work until he put a culvert in it to drive over. Before you put any more dirt there, PLEASE talk to Lester about that. Just trying to help, here~~~
Wow Jake you've worked so hard on this house. I don't know how you did it. That was a huge undertaking. It's going to be beautiful farmhouse when you and Lyssa are done.
Jake please don't listen to people that think they know everything and telling you about how you work. You said it perfectly 1/2 of these people can't do anything you like you do on this house. I can't believe you have done all this on your own. Your parents are so proud. You not my son but I'm very proud of you. And the person you are and becoming. Don't listen to there crap!! Until they walk in your shoes they need to keep quiet.. you are are going to have someone that thinks they know it all....Jake keep up the good work. There are many people like that enjoys your video..
You'll need at least 10 truck loads of dirt and rock. I love that you have a plan and are getting there quickly. You have done so much work Jake and it's amazing!!
Great job Jake keep up the good work God bless you all and keep you all safe on and off the hill on TH-cam fans and your Facebook fans God bless the world
I honestly think you’re on the right track and know what you’re doing in my opinion as far as the floor and everything else of course. It is good to see moo eating doesn’t look like he was struggling any with the grain train. As always, great video and thank you for sharing.
Jake. Do you remember the desk that Stephanie made for Buddy’s Christmas gift?? You can do that for your floors too. Seal the floor with the recommended paint. Fill any low areas with Bondo-used to repair car dents or rust repair areas. You just fill & smooth the cracked & low areas. Then paint with what color you want an under coat. Then create a beautiful floor that will last forever with epoxy. A couple coat of floor epoxy and the asbestos will be really sealed for many many years.
Howdy Jake. This grandma admires your work ethick. I'm so proud of how much love you give to that little man and your wife. They are very lucky to have you. I pray for your future success with whatever you find yourself involved in.❤😊
Jake I think you ar doing a amazing job be careful I know deep down you will get it and it will be a beautiful place and safe for the family when you get it done it will be beautiful already looking so much better you are a hard working man one in a million
If I were you I’d try to get the tiles up that are sticking up. Use some self leveling stuff And then put a thick underlayment down 😃 You’re doing a great job❤. Yeah wearing one of those all day does suck especially in the summer.
Awesome Jake glad your going with the self leveling.. Make sure u put up barriers around the walls it does run fast. I would also find an alternative to sheet rock. It's so bad to breathe in over time.. Limestone is the best for long life.. Keep up the great work 💪👍❤
Jacob, do you what makes you happy and keeps you safe sending you positive energy and love. I look forward to the videos you share with us of your family your animals, your land, the remodel of your new house I want to say thank you And please just be careful so you can take care of yourself so you can take care of your family and be with them and lol keep sharing videos with us☮️❤️
One say at a time Jake you will get there ... I'm looking forward to watching your progress & the final completion when you can all move into your new home
Abatement team would wet the asbestos in order to keep the particles from becoming airborne- they are bagged and then sealed to be put in a special abatement area for disposal- That’s the best choice to no longer have possible contamination If you don’t do that- sealing it all into place (including broken tile) to prevent contamination! So leveling cement might work out But your siding outside has to be treated that way as well Definitely do your homework to keep you & your family safe ❤
Just an idea … not sure if available in TX but cemeteries here in Ky will load up dirt for free in truck or trailer. May wanna check considering how much you will need.
Wonderful video . All this experience enhances your life & influences many !! May I suggest a culvert under that new road and look into water drainage.
I check everyday, all day long for your videos. I'm excited to watch the progress on your farm/house. Keep on trucking Jake!!!!
You and me both. I look forward to the next update.
Jake, keep being you do. Listen to your Dad, Pawpaw, Lester, and the inspectors suggestion. They have been there, done it. You keep being you and listen to yourself. You are doing an excellent job. @@bjc8248 Jake is a video creator. That is his job.
I would go for the thick and level it out
I just came to say this. Taking care of property and animals is a job in itself. Plus all the other things. Super proud of you Jake!
@greghysell8724 Nobody is saying it's not a huge job. It just doesn't give him a paycheck every 2 weeks.
I'm a 70-year-old woman and my construction knowledge is very limited. The ONLY thing I have any experience with is self-leveler and it's amazing stuff. I helped my husband do two floors in a nursing home and it worked like magic. Keep on keeping on Jake...you're the best!

Hello Lyssa and Junior hope all is well
Self leveling concrete will be safest for asbestos tiles. It will seal the harmful particles and level at the same time.
You have cleaned your house up so nicely. Good job Jake. Hugs❤
Jake you are a MACHINE!!!
You are gettin 'er done!
Hey Jake, possible you have the doors on the grain train open too far allowing too much grain into the trays. You're doing great so keep the chin up.

Jake, have you checked to see if water/moisture is coming in under the outside walls before you put anything to level the floors. Looks like all those tiles fail/ crack due to moisture, not traffic. Just a preemptive thought on my part. Your doing a great job.
I believe you're right, because it's around the perimeter of the room. But, how would you do that? Maybe sealing it will alleviate that.
Tiles bust when heavy stuff is dropped.
Make sure there was no flooding and or water getting in under foundation also

Moo needs a bacon grease treatment by Mondo 😂😂
Howdy Cowboy Jake 🤠 Good luck with all your projects. Can't believe the truck got stuck..Adventures galore in your life. 🙏💜
Great progress Jake. You’re a house flipper! My Dad bought a house like yours. but twice as big. It turned out so 9:40 nice and yours will too.
Is that a drainage ditch? Might need a culvert?
I pray for your future success with whatever you find yourself involved in.❤😊
You know what’s best for the floor in your Home 🏠 I’m so excited … I’m watching everyday for your video to see all your changes Jake !!!!

Looking good Jake!! Keep on keepin on ❤❤❤
Jake ❤❤❤your videos👍🏼
If I were you I’d try to get the tiles up that are sticking up. Use some self leveling stuff And then put a thick underlayment down 😃
You’re doing a great job❤.
You are doing great, and have a perfect plan for the floor. Way to goooooo!!!
Looking good. Have you thought about moving the stove to another place in the kitchen. So it won’t be next to the door going out.
Abatement team would wet the asbestos in order to keep the particles from becoming airborne- they are bagged and then sealed to be put in a special abatement area for disposal- That’s the best choice to no longer have possible contamination
If you don’t do that- sealing it all into place (including broken tile) to prevent contamination! So leveling cement might work out
But your siding outside has to be treated that way as well
Definitely do your homework to keep you & your family safe ❤
The new drive access looks good 😊👍🏼
Just an idea … not sure if available in TX but cemeteries here in Ky will load up dirt for free in truck or trailer. May wanna check considering how much you will need.
Wonderful video . All this experience enhances your life & influences many !! May I suggest a culvert under that new road and look into water drainage.
Such a hard worker 😊. A great start.
You are doing a great job! That house is going to be amazing! 💖💖💖
