How come Michael Bloomfield never gets any recognition for his playing of the blues, just because he a-shewed peoples worship of “guitar gods” He was an early proponent and practitioner and player of blues method. “white” guys playing african american blues music. Those mentioned were actually playing blues-rock, l don’t mean to disparage those playing thus.

as a very longtime listener to the blues, I divide it into several chronological eras. First, I call the Delta Blues (as in Miss. R. delta), second is Chicago Blues, which added more instrumentation and "street" themes, third is Electric Blues. So, I don't recognize the greatest of all times, but rather, the greatest of each era. Although problematic, this is right there at the top of the greatest Electric Blues.

Still sounds just like the original Boz Skaggs album mix that I've lamented for years. The engineer left Skydog and Boz's playin' way behind the horns and the organ. The world misses out on one of Duane's best solos ever, if there is one?
