“Night we Lost Him” Just a good mystery! So many reviews said they were disappointed at what a non-thriller it was. But since I love a slow burn mystery I grabbed it. Glad I did ❤ And yes, audio was great (did both)
Adorable Snuggly look Audrey….(hahaha I have that same sweater/jacket….and now I feel like one of the COOL girls….te he he)it’s 25degrees and sunny here on beautiful Puget Sound…..so appreciate your reviews …love my audiobooks as they help calm me down while knitting…..last “listened book Elizabeth George’s ‘A Great Deliverance’….I will listen to more of her work….Peace
So I was reading Everyone on This Train is a Suspect, probably 1/2 way through when I got Onyx Storm. So I had to put the Train down to read Onyx Storm which I started Saturday morning. I’m about 1/2 way through it. It is just as compelling as the others. I’m not familiar with Laura Dave but I am now convinced to read something of hers. Next up for me is Beautiful Ugly. Then I hope to get back to Train before I forget too much and have to reread it!
I love Taylor Swift too! I loved Beautiful Ugly!! I love a book about an author as well. I recently read Take It From Me by Jamie Beck and one of the main characters was an author with writer's block! I loved it!
Sorry to bother you Audrey but as someone who has read the Kay Scarpetta series I was wondering does the series go downhill at or after black notice?. The reason I ask is because I have read the first 4 books in the series & loving it & have the first 12 books of the series on my kindle but I’m hearing that it drastically changes & drastically goes downhill writing wise at or after book 10 Black Notice. Should I be worried as I absolutely love the series & what I’ve read so far. P.S The Last book I read in 2024 was a nonfiction book called "Hockey Rants & Raves by Steve Glynn
Totally forgot about A Game of Lies! It’s next on my list now. I should have picked Beautiful Ugly as my BOTM. Chose I Might Be in Trouble on audio and it isn’t working for me. Just not the right time. I’ll come back to it. The last book I read in 2024 was Here One Moment by Liane Moriarty. I really enjoyed it. People either like it or hate it 😂.
I have never knowingly heard a Taylor Swift song and only recently had my husband point her out at a football game. I couldn't care less about her, but my kids think she's some kind of goddess.
I will not read Taylor Swift, personally think she is a brat. Going to move if Trump won election… this really surprises me about you. I have followed you for you for several years. Something we can agree to disagree, Taylor Swift.
I love how much sense you're making even when you feel you're being chaotic 😂

The Night We Lost Him was a 5 star for me ! Loved it ! Last book I read in 2024 was the thriller Ask Andrea by Noelle Ihli. Very good !
I too had to read and listen to the book, I enjoyed the book. Love Alice Feeney.
I recommended to you on Goodreads The Sea of Unspoken Things. Literary mystery and was beautifully done.

LOVE Benjamin Stevenson!

At the end of 2024 I read Every Time I Go on Vacation Someone Dies. It was a fun time! Have you read it?

I completely agree with you about Taylor Swift, but I love Audrey!😊
