Here it is December 28th 2020 as I watch this and it makes me wish it was Summer again! Some damn fine roads for blasting on a motorcycle. Working on a 2001 1100XX currently hope it'll be ready for this upcoming season. LOVE a Blackbird!
@@tigge246 To show how much I love a Honda XX, this is my third Bird. I started with a new 1999, then a new 2003, now a used 2001, all US spec bikes. I currently also own a 2020 Kawasaki ZH2 supercharged naked that just didn't do it for me. It will be up for sale this Spring. Not as powerful as the Kaw., but much smoother with a higher top speed and overall better build quality. Live and learn I guess!
@@stevesmith6236 , that is real love and Honda is and stays a very fine bike, for myself it's my 5e Honda and at the moment I ride my 3e Fireblade! Never had problems and drive about 10K each year, cicuit and long travel rides. Enjoy the Bird and greetings from the Netherlands 😉
Both Hondas but they both have specific characteristics and the Blade is really more of a racer and the Blackbird a very fast cruiser which makes it ideal for the longer distances

the VFR is a very great bike but doesn't have enough power to keep up with the Blackbird and the Fireblade

Have you had the blackbird flashed, or tuned in any way, great exceleration.. If I had the room. I would have never got rid of mine..
the Blackbird is all original and is ridden by a buddy of mine who has a blue version Backbird now and he knows how to ride! 😈
