I love that you not only tell us the how of cooking, but also the why. That’s usually missing from cooking recipes and it’s immensely helpful to know what to look for.

Made this it was excellent. Egg wrapper was fun to make. I think I can make a better wrapper next time. Wife loved it asked me to thank you for this recipe from your families favorites. Hardest part for me was cleaning egg off of the steamer. 😁

Just so interesting! You make it all so simple or let’s say understandable! I’ve tried your braised beef and radish in my new Souped up Recipe clay pot! So delicious! Thank you Mandy for bringing us such great cultural recipes.

I've used the wok several times and like it so much that I've retired my mother's old wok. Wish she could have tried this new one. Recipe looks great, can't wait to try it. Thank you.

I really don't want to comment anything, but it doesn't let me do this without it.. so anyways, I love, seriously love your channel. Not only do the recipes taste amazing, but we get to know why are certain things done certain way, sometimes even on a molecular level. We learn what to watch out for to succeed and to not get lost, everything is super organized! All these things make the videos amazing, but most importantly, it is delivered with love.. and it is seen and appreciated. :) Much love from Slovakia, glad I stumbled upon this golden channel.

I haven't seen a single dish/recipe that you have filmed that I either don't love already or don't want to try. Your presentation is so approachable/doable. I love your Kung Pao chicken recipe. I adapted it to combine with another and wow it was amazing. I made it for my mom and she praised it. I did deseed the peppers because it was for Mom LOL! She likes spicy but not near as much as I do 😜

I just made this today. Thank you for your recipe, kindly sharing the techniques in details, the omelletes turned out so gooood!!! (I modified bits here and there such as less scallions, add a pinch of salt to the egg wrapper, and instead of full tapioca starch, i used half tapioca starch and half apf) So delicious!!!🙏🏼👍🏼

In Vietnamese culture, there's a similar dish, call egg meatloaf (cha). It's ground pork, glass noodle, garlic, salt, sugar, wood ear mushroom. It is steamed. Mostly eaten with broken rice. There's no egg wrapper.

Thank you so much for sharing your unique experiences. You have so many combos that are no brainers once you put them together. This prep, to me, could work with any fresh, local pork sausage with the addition of the egg and starch to bind it. Then the dipping sauce is wide open, but it should have some spice. I'd plate it with a ton of fresh fruit for a brunch thing with mimosas, bloody marys, bloody marys, and bloody marys. Thank you again for great ideas.

Thanks Mandy for sharing such delicious recipes. I tried to make and it was very delicious though the egg roll doesn't look as pretty as those sold in shops here or as seen in your video. Any way it's my 1st attempt. I am confident I will improve it in my 2nd try. 😂 And will add in carrots and water chestnut as u suggested 😂.
By the way, I have shared your video to my readers too in my blog through borneo lady : Home made pork egg roll noodle soup

I think this is worth the practicing. Perhaps practice at breakfast time, so you can eat your "failures" and not waste them. ;-) Also, as adults, we generally feel like we should already know how to do everything and if we make mistakes while learning, we feel downhearted. Not the way to look at it, I feel, we should just enjoy the learning process and keep trying until we master something. Wok cooking is one of those things, takes time to learn properly, I'm still trying with Mandy's video help!!
