- The Story of the Man who Broke Patrick Mahomes. Highlighting how Kadarius Toney came to the Kansas City Chiefs and shattered the spirit of their star Quarterback as well as probably Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift.

Kadarius Toney didn't play in the Post season or superbowl thanks to this video, I am essentially the Chiefs MVP.
Nope, just another ill-informed TH-camr with bad hot takes. Dynasty over, my ass!

So you think it’s ok to be a terrible teammate who is more of a distraction! Thank you
They put dude on ice, never set foot on the field again for the chiefs, that's crazy.
As a Giants fan, it warms my heart to see everyone truly realize, as we did, just how dogshit Toney really is
funny thing is any fan paying attention knew he was crap soon after seeing him yet somehow that fact eludes the processional coaches ~
@@bornfree2218 Some people gets blinded by that punt return so there would be a really ignorant notion that he was actually good.
stop being racist.
People also forget when he had that 180+ game against the cowboys, we were down by like 20 and he got ejected for punching someone. Sooooo yeah, don’t feel bad at all
He helped us win a SB, so I’m not seeing the downside.
He was cheap, too. Worth every penny even if he falls off completely.
Having followed Mahomes since college I can't tell you how absolutely uncharacteristic his outbursts have been lately. Seriously, this dude played on teams that suffered bad beats (largely due to inept defenses and bad coaching) and he never so much as raised his voice in anger at anybody. He'd share the blame and encourage players that made mistakes. But Toney has found a way to finally break Mahomes down.
Because Mahomes sold himself out and has convinced himself he is the best player. Dude is annoying as hell and a cry baby, it’s about time he gets caught in calls against him normally cast aside in favoritism.
@@FatalFist I think part of the reason why you feel like this isnthe case is cause of his fanbase case lets be real alot of top players fan bases are annoying and the dude is actually pretty chill. Like I can think on maybe 2 hands and thats maybe on how many times Pat has been shown to be the way he is rn but for majority of his career bro been chill
@@CrashDAMFCourse I was actually a fan of his for a bit when he first started with the Chiefs. He was acting like our next Tom Brady after expecting the former to retire around the same time. I know right? I feel so bad for the Chiefs having to deal with Mahomes' inability to throw a catchable ball.
Then he should have taken up golf...No teammates! 😂🤣😃
It’s pretty funny to watch when a grown man throws a tantrum.
It's actually noticeable in Mahomes' play that he no longer trusts his wrs. It's not just Toney, it's every single one of them besides Kelce. He's literally his only option, and yet he's even had a few bad drops. Mahomes has been very hesitant due to this, it's been throwing off his timing, he's been getting sacked more and forced into uncomfortable situations, and he's tucking the ball and running more than ever even when his wrs are open. If it's not Kelce opened I wouldn't throw it either.
he said he trust his recievers do you think patrick mahomes would lie
@@hannahstewart4031 Mahomes would never dawg on his wrs, he doesn't trust them, its obvious. He's not going to talk trash on them and say he doesn't trust them because that would look bad on him and the organization and cause his wrs to doubt themselves.

I'm not a huge Chiefs guy, or a Mahomes guy, and I was really happy to see Brian Branch get that pick six. But I mean come on, how do you decline so much that you can't catch the football? Sure, maybe some of it is off ball placement or too much zip, but you're a NFL receiver, you have to make that work.
Great video, love the long form content!
Mark Jackson & Vance Johnson who were John Elway's receivers in the 80's said that John gave them bruises in their chest & arms from his throws. That's how hard John threw the ball.
Branch showed better hands and ball location on that play than Toney lol

@@goldenjav2954and Brett Favre would mess up his wide receivers fingers regularly but they caught them throws none the less. I don't think he was the only QB known for that, just did it the most with that sidearm release he would use on the run for short to mid throws.

Toney was fools gold bc of the playoffs last year. Huge gamble the way they structured the WR corps around him and the Chiefs knew that
We should have cut a bunch of these guys (especially Toney) and gone after D-Hop.
yep...have no idea why they put so much faith in such an inexperienced and unproven WR core..MVS has been a waste of $$ so far..
The saddest part of all of this is when Kadarius Toney was asked who his favorite teammate is before all this went on, he said "Pat Mahomes". I hope Toney can make a turnaround next season because I actually like the guy.

@@lastreagandemocrat Yeah my guess too, no team wants him after all the balls he dropped this season, you either NFL material or you're not like Toney is not NFL material

I don't get why everyone immediately goes on the blame train for the receivers. Why is it that EVERY receiver is dropping catches? It's not just Toney. It's MVS, Kelce, and all the secondaries. It's not their fault. It's Mahomes. If you watch the dropped passes, they're all either overthrown, under thrown, out of stride, way too hard, or completely outside the route.
I was on the Mahomes hate train, but now I legitimately feel for him. Imagine your coworkers being fully inept, or being the only person in a group project willing to do anything. There’s only so much you can smile and bear through

Really weird talking about the Chiefs Dynasty in the past tense when we're gonna be playing in the AFC Championship today. Win or lose this game, the dynasty is definitely not over yet.
During the SB, was really cool to see Toney do well. As a Giants fan, I was happy for him to be in a spot to succeed when the Giants were clearly in a rebuild (even if 2022 was a lot of overachievement).
However, once he called out the FANS during the offseason and flexing on them for having a ring (thanks to being traded) and all that other low temper nonsense, the anti-Toney hat went on fierce.
One of the few players who I actively root against, and I'm happy his ego is getting shattered and the limelight is on his failures as a receiver and as an individual
I'm a lifelong Chiefs fan and thought that was really bad sportsmanship from Toney. Chiefs generally don't like it when their players act like that. great breakdown, great video.
my problem is that toney is a great playmaker with the ball in his hands. I never really saw him drop many passes last year so its probably a mental thing
I don't feel bad for Patty. He took that massive contract. He knew it would mean having less talent around him when he's taking a larger yearly salary than his entire receiving corps combined, WRs and TEs. If he wanted stud WRs around him, he should have done what Brady did for 20 years, and taken pay cuts.
I know. If some other great young QB like Purdy or CJ Stroud takes a paycut, they’ll pass up Mahomes simply because they actually sacrifice crap to make sure their team wins.
Well, not every QB can be the GOAT and take a pay cut to have more talent around himself. Or just win in spite of the lack of talent like coming back from 28-3 with three 5'10" white dudes as your starting receivers.
You keep showing a play where Pat threw a shitty pass that was behind Toney.

Same with Lamar Jackson the last few years, this year 8 finally has receivers 😂
Allen is suuuuuuuuper overrated though
Allen will straight up make braindead decisions at times. I’m not gonna say that Mahomes doesn’t make any mistakes but he’s a far better and more consistent decision-maker under pressure than Allen ever will be.
Stop dude... Allen makes more bone headed plays then he should.
The raiders make the final crack with two defensive touchdowns in seven seconds. Two plays in a row!
Kelce throws his helmet and gets benched, andy reid yells at kelce, mahomes yells at receivers, etc. There is no coming back from that.
I mean, that entire receiver room will realistically be cleaned out before next season. For playing with the best quarterback in the league, they can’t seem to do anything to help the man. He’s not looking like his old self. I hope this raiders game helps the organization see that they need to clean shop offensively. The OC is from a 5 win bears squad, the WR coach was a high school WR coach, and the receiver room is XFl level besides rice and Watson. This needs to be a rebuilding year
I think this season will be a reset button. The Cheifs have been high on their own brand with a bunch of big egos.

Simple answer: we got cocky. The chiefs GM thought that mahomes didn’t need receivers, but even Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers’s needed receivers to succeed. The defense, which is doing very well, is being wasted on a year with a bum receiving depth chart, and tackles that are 2nd string at best. The GM should really hold himself accountable, because he needs to get his shit together
@@Will_i_amfr yeah like Hopkins is exactly the kind of player that the Brady Patriots would've picked up, I guess they did think Kelce and Sky Moore in particular would be better and had solid reasons so expect that, but the opportunity was there to solidify such a key position and insure it against one of those assumptions failing and they didn't

... Wait what evidence is there that Mahomes is "broken" except for that clip of him on the sidelines (which was replayed like 10 times during this 10 minute video)? Do the Chiefs lack a star wide receiver? Absolutely. Is Mahomes frustrated by the drops? Sure. But ... the Chiefs are first in their division. They've won 9 games. The two best teams in the league have won 11 games. Will the lack of a receiver prevent them from wining the Super Bowl? Yeah, probably ... but to describe a player as "broken" is to imply that their individual performance is declining and will continue to decline.
not to mention mahomes has the most overall yards right now, definetly missing some competent receivers but he’s balling out
Sadly i feel their window has passed…..offensive line is not where it was…….the receivers drop balls yes but they cant get open even when mahomes extends the play, and kelce will have more drops just because its enevitable with the amount of passes coming his way. Now with all that and you look back at all those years the crap receivers brady had it is truly amazing what he accomplished, he adapted his game around their limitations obviously working with the coaching staff as well, they just had it on both sides……….its easy to look and play good when its all going right but when its not going your way and you are still are almost unbeatable i think that is what makes you truly elite…….so i agee that he isnt broken YET! Everyone gets frustated, even the greats, but that mahomes outburst was different…the refs called it right and you go after them? Thats the part that shows the start of the cracks, one game one big outburst no biggie, we need to see more and that will tells us…..i will end with this, a lot has to go right to win the SB, but you also must make a lot out of what you have…….and that takes coaching and dedicated players.

His meltdowns made the mask come off and showed the world who he really was
It's really funny because the entire fan base since like week 3 or 4 was screaming to stop starting MVS, Skyy Moore, and Toney. Everyone wanted Rice to get more snaps and for the offense to utilize Pacheco, Watson, and Gray more. Near the end of the season they finally started doing that. MVS has almost no targets a game now and his play time was cut from near 80% to 30%. They're running Pacheco like 20+ times a game instead of like 12 or 15 max. If they don't play Toney, MVS, or Moore they will be so much better of a team for the playoffs. Focus on Rice, Kelce, and Pacheco the most. Sprinkle in Watson, Gray, and James in that order and they're good to go
Rice and Pacheco seem like such stand-up guys. It's hard to believe they're rookies. The talent coming out of college football is insane lately! Yet my bears trade all their picks every year 😭

NFL is playing 4D chess. In the biggest moment on the biggest play, the refs actually did their job. It was intentionally designed to kill the rising assumption that the NFL is rigged. Toney did his job and lined up where he was told to (offsides) and Mahomes did his job by acting bizarrely out of character and dispute the call. The media does their closing job of amplifying the emotional part of the script. If you work hard, love your family, sacrifice for loved ones to advance further in life…last thing you wanna do is waste EMOTIONAL time and money on sports that are for entertainment, led by greedy elites who gives a rats ass about you and yours. Toney is a genius. He recognizes that even if he tries hard and plays well, he'll never be a superstar and so no one will ever remember him and any success his team has will just be attributed to the QB. So he's betting big against his own player props and making a ton of money. True brilliance.
