Escaflowne wasn't very popular in Japan, and unpopular series don't typically make more than one appearance in a SRW game. Heck, some don't even get one.
@@tbr2109You say that, but neither were shows like Big O and Cowboy Bebop, and Big O has been in a few while Cowboy Bebop is going to be in T. Bamco said that even tho the English versions will be Asian region only, they're now adding certain shows in SRW because of Western popularity, which is why Cowboy Bebop and G Gundam are in T. Escaflowne still has a chance now.
@@zeronos2844 T is stated to be a single-series. However, Terada did say that he kinda wanted to make a Fantasy/Isekai SRW, in which both Rayearth and Escaflowne are in the list (alongside Wataru and obligatory Dunbine) And at least at the moment, Escaflowne is in X-Omega.
Hmmm... Since Knights and Magic, Dubine and Rayearth are on Srw 30, do you there is a slim chance of Escaflowne popping out? You know a suprise. Since that 3 is are magical mecha themed.
I would gladly have traded Majestic Prince's slot for Escaflowne if it were up to me - I can only hope it's part of one of the DLCs at this point though.
@@zeronos2844 I'm personally indifferent to the series as a whole, but I'm surprised Darling in the Franxx didn't have any representation in the game considering its... "notability" in the general anime community, for lack of a better word.
@@TacticianMark it means SRW creators prolly hates franxxx too And nope it's not mecha, and that filthy franxxx almost killed the mecha genre for just existing.
@@TacticianMark It is weird, but I suspect Franxx could exist in a "wreaked world"-type, or be partnered with Cross Ange... as part of the "Old World" thing Embryo talks about... depending on how you interpritate it... Plus other "Wreaked World" series has exist, Gundam X, IBO, and such...
It was a HUGE missed opportunity not putting Escaflowne in SRW X. It would have been perfect for that game's story and setting!

Who knows escaflowne might be added on T2, they let Rayearth be included so why not this?

the fact Escaflowne has only been in one srw game is a crime. i don't care that it's not popular in japan.
